We went there on a Friday and had their catfish. It was great. Their catfish is fried perfectly (to me, it is because I like mine crispy). The fish is meaty and plentiful. They give you some fries that were on the cool side and a big slice of onion. This will fill you up. The catfish pieces are of good size. I would recommend these catfish lovers.

So I went thru the drive thru it’s a lil different than most. You drive up look at the menu then drive to the window and tell them your order and they write it down on a ticket. Give your drink then you go park in the parking lot and they bring it out to you fresh. Like every car every person. Girly at the window was soo nice and cute personality maybe some other customers that day weren’t so great? ❤️ the boy who brought out my food was so nice and helpful. the food was bomb hot apparently this was the hot spot for a Thursday night in Bowie they were busy. I waited about 10 or 15 minutes but I didn’t mind at all.

Normally I wouldn’t write a review but DQ is my favorite burger place in town. Today we ordered the Crispy chicken sandwich. The employee proceeded to charge us for the Desperado instead and said there was a price difference even though the menu shows they are both $7.99. She then tells me that the prices on the menu arent the real price and had me pay an extra $4 for her mistake. This just does not seem right! I asked to speak to a manager or someone in charge and she said there isn’t anyone here in charge. So be sure to check your receipts because they are charging more than what is advertised. This private franchise is trying to stay hometown which sounds good. But the franchise owner must be cheap because this place does not acknowledge Corporate Apps or participate in pay by phone. The ice cream is good but no different than any other dairy queen. This place does however offer things like beans and other types of downhome items you might find in a cafe. Great place for travelers or meetups. It used to be more friendly. It is really meant as a place for locals and old-timers to have a throwback place to hangout. I Bowie is a small town so yeah

I got food Poisoning from this disgusting place. And it only took 1 and a half steak fingers. I should have known not to order from here when it took forever to get my food. I had to go inside to ask why it was taking so long. When I first walked in I saw 2 people in the kitchen, and the lady was eating food, in the back were they prep food, and No one was wearing gloves, I should have just thrown it away. don’t ever eat here.

Our service was incredible slow. We had one person who had to wait for their order so long that everyone else was finishing up eating before he got it. The store just seemed dirty and the whole place stunk of old grease. Hopefully it was just an off day.

If your looking for “fast” food, don’t come here. The food is literally started when the ticket comes in. People complain about the wait, yeah food takes time to cook. This isn’t McDonald’s. The food is good because it doesn’t come out of a drawer. You have to understand that your not the only people waiting for food. There is always someone waiting. It may not be busy in the lobby, but I assure you there are to go orders, side work and other things that factor into this whole process. And as far as the employees being rude, they aren’t being rude, they are trying to make it another day in this world just like everyone else. Everyone has there moments. And if you have had a bad experience, don’t go back. As simple as that. If your worried about the price, go make your own burger at home for way cheaper. Nobody made you go out to eat, you made yourself by being lazy. So get over it, or get over yourself.
