Absolutely LOVED our time here at this luau. I brought my entire family here for their first luau experience and we were not disappointed.

My husband and I came on our honeymoon and left with full bellies and huge smiles. Food is brought to your table and you are able to try everything—it’s a LOT of food and all delicious. Definitely come hungry! We quickly got a “welcome drink” from our server and he kept them coming all night. The setting, costumes, music and dancing all came together for a spectacular show. Definitely add this to your itinerary if you can!!

We had a great time at this luau! The servers were attentive and so nice. You get so much food! It was fun to try some different dishes. The show was fun and interesting. I’d go back!!

This is definitely one of the best luaus we have attended in terms of the food and the show. It was a beautiful setting, and we watched the sun set as we ate dinner. There were 5 courses, and they brought out a sampling of all the foods in each course. I really enjoyed this over the buffet style. You can still request as much of a particular dish as you want, but they bring it to the table instead of your having to stand in the buffet line. Every course was so nicely done and felt like being at a nice restaurant rather than a buffet.

Food was mostly very good. Service was also fairly decent though the waiters do cover too many tables so some things take a while. Beautiful setting with great sunset. However, the show was terrible and very boring. Nothing but dancing. Other luaus we attended previously had much better numbers with fire juggling, etc. and were much more interestingand entertaining. This one is just boring with slow dances. It was supposed to be the best luau on Maui – perhaps it is these days, but definitely not their boring show.

I was quite skeptical about Luaus given how much they cost, but every dollar we spent at Old Lahaina Luau was worth it! The show was fantastic and the food truly did not stop coming. Be sure to pace yourself, we were pretty out of space by the time we got to dessert. A totally unforgettable evening!

I loved the history of education on Maui island. Beautiful show that lasted all through dinner. Lovely vegetable chips and cervical, sweet bread appetizers. There is a lot of food to eat so go to this show with an empty stomach.

This is our second time going to this Luau. It is one of the better shows we have been to and by far the best drinks and atmosphere for taking group photos!! The first time we went was a buffet style which they have now changed to a plated meal (Covid rule). The food is good but the buffet was so much nicer allowing you to get more of what you liked and less (or none) of what you didn’t care for. We hate waisting food so a bummer seeing items tossed that we didn’t care for.

We visited Monday, August 7th, 2023. From the moment we were greeted with our Aloha and Lei, we felt part of the family. Staff was helpful, informative, and above all kind. I thought the served meal was better than the old buffet style (2018 was our last visit). Everything was fresh and delicious. Drinks were also very good. The evening was a mix of individual and group performances. All were done with professional precision. My family and I enjoyed it very much. Lau Lau was fantastic!
