I went to Pop’s Pizza because I saw people raving about the “Detroit Style Pizza”, I used to live in Michigan, and I had a strong craving for it. The owners were very nice, they gave me an order of their Garlic Knots to try since they tweaked the recipe. My food all tasted very good. The only thing is that their “Detroit Style Pizza” is not Authentic Detroit Style Pizza so in that respect I was very disappointed and actually quite humored by all of the raving reviews of the “Detroit Style Pizza”. I recommend eating here but DO NOT ORDER THEIR “DETROIT STYLE PIZZA” IF YOU ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR A DETROIT STYLE PIZZA.

Chad was cool the guy who took the order ordered over 60$ of food and it was absolutely aweful the meatballs were hard in the sub the cheese was so thick and undercooked we thru away the whole order all we ate was the fries and some cheesy bread at the very least to say it was a bad experience first and last time I ever order from there heard it was great from the locals but personally didn’t think by the photos it be bad never ever again

This place was suggested by a friend, and a fellow person born and raised in downstate New York. The pizza, wings, and garlic knots were the BEST I have ever had in the Capital Region! The family is amazing and we loved talking to everyone! The pizza was incredible, and the people were equally incredible.

Sure, Pops has good thin crust pizza, pops has good sides (garlic knots ) , pops has good employees who are kind and honest with you when you call or walk in. But what really sets Pops Pizza apart from any other place I’ve been to is this “Tommy Boy” 28″ round pizza. It’s so big the box covers your freaking stove top! The owner saw my face when I went to pick it up and said “Yeah, I see that shocked face a lot when customers see this box for the first time”

First time getting take out here, got a rather large order for a work group everything was a hit! Pizza was cooked to perfection, mouthwatering sauce- chicken wings were delicious, meaty and the sauce (Hot) was extremely flavorful with seasoning not just plain boring hot sauce (best wings I’ve had in a while!)- mozzarella sticks were recommended and certainly didn’t disappoint (try the Melba sauce so good)- and the fried oreos for desert killed it! Keep doing your thing Pops! Everyone at my job will be back!!

We have never ordered from Pops before and saw their Detroit pizza posted on Facebook which drew us in. We ordered the pizza, mozzarella sticks, garlic knots and boneless wings. It was absolutely amazing! Both my boys 7 and 9 kept saying omg mom this is so amazing. Everything tasted homemade and that part alone is 5 stars, you don’t get that much anymore. Looks like we have a new place to order our Friday night dinner. Absolutely no complaints!!!

Tonight I decided to try Pop‘s Pizza’s stuffed mushrooms. I got the sausage, and I got the spinach. They were absolutely amazing they tasted so fresh you can truly tell they use all fresh ingredients. They were hot when they got to my door they truly were quite a pleasure definitely a step up from your average pizza shop I will definitely order them again.
