French dip was good – simple sandwich. Wish it came with something aside from potato chips. Our server was awesome! Attentive and fun to chat with! The patio was great! Perfect for people watching

We came here for an early lunch on Thursday and had a great experience. We were greeted right away by both waitstaff and told we could sit where we liked. Drink orders were taken, then food orders and everything came out in a timely fashion. They don’t have a very large selection of food, but everything on the menu is really tasty. All three of us really enjoyed what we got.

Remarkably mediocre. Quick and responsive service. Our waitress was excellent, responsive and quick. A waiter at the table was loud and annoying. He had a table with out of towners and it seemed as if he has never left central Illinois. The food was cheap and basic but for the price it was reasonable. Many other options in Springfield that have delightful and high quality food. This place is fine for a cheap quick meal.

As a foodie, I recommend skipping it. There just isn’t anything impressive, and a lot to be desired in their flavor palate. I went to Robbies for a music event for class. Mu friend and I ordered the nachos appetizer which was cheese microwaved over tortilla chips with some tomato diced on top. There was some steak on it and sour cream. It tasted fine but for the price I would have expected more flavor. The Hawaiian salad was iceberg, tomato, chicken, cheese and a ring of pineapple on the side. I’d heard a fair amount of good about Robbie’s and the service and all was good. I can’t really say anything bad, I just cant say anything was particularly good either.

Wonderful dinner, reasonably priced, good natured service. My wife had the pork special, I had a salad and a cup of soup. Each had two glasses of wine and I had a coke. Split a piece of chocolate cream pie. $46. Go find all of that for the great price. Situated right in front of the old capital building,

Food was pretty average. Good pricing, but nothing to write home to mom about. The staff were pretty laid back and friendly. I really enjoyed my conversations with them so that’s a definite plus!

Ordered the chicken fajita. Wait time for food was average. Fajita was edible but not great. Super soggy and hard to eat. Side of sour cream cost 1.50 and was the size of a jello shot container. The only good thing about that place was the chocolate cream pie.

Food decent. Had tuna/salad combo for about $8. Hostess, Carol, was very nice. Laid back, cool ambience, smooth jazz playing…overall good experience.
