Incredible scratch made brats and sausages in a quaint little establishment off the side of US-97. Don’t blink or you will miss it. Julie the owner is so kind and down to earth its an absolute must stop anytime we are passing thru. The meals are extremely well priced and to be honest a little under priced for the amount of food you get and quality. My wife and i have been here a hand full of times now over the years and so incredibly happy we found this gem and established a friendship with Julie and her dog Artemis! Another highlight would be dont miss out on the scratch made pretzels.

Stopped by for first visit, had a reuben with potato salad, Tira misu and cheese cake, picked up brats frozen to go, sandwich and sweets were wonderful, very nice owner and I’m going to make it a point To be there Saturday for the schnitzel special.

You will not be disappointed! Delicious food served in a place with sweet ambiance and a lovely owner. Really enjoyed the bratwurst and pretzel meal and the HOMEMADE chicken soup. Having good food on nice china was also a nice touch. Just remember to bring cash – they don’t take credit cards.

Driving up to Washington on 97 we noticed this placed and made a note to try to stop by on our way back home. I’m glad we did. It was a really hot day and we wanted to get some good food to go eat down at the gorge. She has a nice simple menu and I would guess it is all pretty good based on what we got. The ambiance is great, all kinds of memorabilia and pictures from Germany and it was a warm welcoming feel to it.

Stopped here on my way through the area. I love the atmosphere, especially all the German mugs decorating the restaurant. Really enjoyed chatting with the owner. The Reuben sandwich I had was delicious as well. The owner made and served me lunch and was patient while I hopped on a brief work meeting. I wish we lived close to this place because we would be frequenting it often.

I and my daughter had a very nice time here. Owner was very pleasant and friendly to chat with, and our food was really good. I don’t travel this route very often at all, and to say I was surprised to see a Bavarian Deli out this way would be an understatement. But I’m glad it’s here!

We lucked into them having a reservation open for the 3rd Saturday dinner of the month when we were driving down the 97. The food was delicious and the ladies were so nice. They had a band playing. Nice to see normal smiling faces with delicious food!!

Stopped on our drive back to Portland from the long weekend. WHAT! A! FIND! The inside vibrates positivity, Julie is so passionate about what she does and the food is top notch! This is a one woman show so if there is a crowd or you are large group, be patient…I seriously promise will be worth it.
