Oh my goodness! This is the epitome of an unassuming exterior hiding a true gem inside. The Portuguese menu served is truly some of the best meals I have ever tasted. It’s a unique menu compared of brilliant executions of staples (clams in a red sauce) and the more adventurous (Dobrada). I can not recommend it highly enough!

It’s so hard to find good Portuguese food in CT. This Portuguese bar restaurant is an oasis in a desert of mediocre food. I’ve been here several times and each time the food was amazing. The staff is awesome too. Don’t sleep on this place. If you’re looking for delicious eats you won’t find a better place in the area.

Had steak dinner, roasted goat dinner, kale soup, shrimp Mozambique, cod cakes, and salad. I’m not impressed at all. Steak dinner is really disappointing for 50$ thin over cooked and bland with side of bland white rice and fries. The fries are decent but skimpy portion.

Went there for my birthday. One of many restaurants on my list of places to visit in ct. The food, service and atmosphere was so amazing. Cozy little restaurant filled with so much love. I felt so relaxed and happy. I can’t wait to go back. Our server nate was an absolute sweetheart.

Service was awful. Had to chase them down for a drink and when they finally brought us our check no one was to be found while we waited and waited and waited. Had to go to the back to get someone’s attention just to pay the check.
