Wow … it was my first time I couldnt finished fried spring roll at vietnamese restaurants wow I thought the roll was stale .. smell of first bite was so bad and taste was so awful .. I thought I was going to get food sick… I should have noticed when the look of the roll was different to the ones that I had before at the other restaurants……. oh my… 5 dollar… I didnt even complain to the waiter cuz he was nice guy… I just left whole plate on the table so they should have notice something was wrong with that fried roll… shame on cook in the kitchen or the owner that intentionally serving old stale trash dish to customer…. pho was okay…….. not good ..just eatable.. cuz of the smell of broth…. and the restaurant smell by it self wasnt good either.. I should have notice this place is not good at all when there were none customers but me..on the weekend not even was weekday….and no sauces were prepared on the table like other restaurants does.. also sriracha sauce was in the different container… I was fooled by good reviews and rating but… oh no… cant believe people have no clue what they are getting from this place wow… I should have waited until I got to the germantown or gaithersburg… wow….ㅜㅡㅜ

The dumplings were okay, the orange chicken was very dry and chewy. I would reccomend just sticking to the soups.

I ordered the Pho with flank steak and brisket beef… I got to admit it was yummy. Plus I had a glass of red wine and as a side appetizer we had steamed dumplings with duck meat. Overall the experience was fantastic. Our waiter was very friendly..I would recommended this place if you love Pho!! Soft music in the background, very pleasant atmosphere. Bring your friends its a relaxing place with great food!!

It’s quiet. Not many people go to this one but the quality is almost as good as the others in town. The staff is friendly and quick and they have a pretty big fish tank. Not the best Pho I’ve had but pretty good. Spring rolls aren’t recommended.

The pho is incredible! Great broth, quality basil and bean sprouts, super tender chicken and delicious noodles. We tried them today for the first time after being regular customers of that other place on the Corner and we won’t go anywhere else but Viet Gourmet moving forward. I’m still reeling from the amazing flavor of the Pho! Best Pho in Frederick, hands down!

Their Pho is especially good and my favorite location for this dish in Frederick. Their other meals are somewhat unremarkable. Great wait staff however, and always plenty of seating available.

First time there. Friendly staff but the food is garbage. Ordered two different pho’s and received two of the same. The egg rolls weren’t good either and the fried shrimp was mediocre. $30 in the trash and won’t be going back.

Would give more stars because the food is pretty good (wasn’t the biggest fan of the yellow curry, it was very sweet from the coconut milk and needed more spice), I like their vegetarian pho but I’ve also had better of that. I wish their vegetarian pho had a higher variety of veggies like water chestnuts and heart of palm. Or at least more of mushrooms and the tofu. The reasons for me giving 3 stars is

My wife and I love coming here. The food is always great, and the service is always friendly and timely. This is definitely our favorite destination for pho in Frederick, and they also have great other dishes!

Best Vietnamese dining delight adjacent to Fort Detrick and central Frederick. On this visit we were pleasantly greeted by the Chef/Co-owner who adeptly collected our first selections. The appetizers appeared promptly. As we glanced over the menu pondering something for a late lunch, our spring rolls (steamed shrimp, vermicelli noodles, mung bean sprouts, fresh basil, lettuce, cucumber gently wrapped in rice paper) arrived with Nuoc Mam (peanut dipping sauce). In addition, we were served a freshly prepared hot & sour shrimp soup, along with a generous portion of tofu (long cubes of tofu quick fried to a light golden brown) served with 2 dipping sauces (yes, peanut and a sweet chili sauce). The wait staff was attentive and efficient. We enjoyed our brief visit and look forward to our next.
