So glad this small town had a more diverse food options besides sandwich restaurants. The set up here is different but a great change from the boring restaurant routine. First, you order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. We love the a la cart type menu and the salsa bar was awesome. Everything was fresh. The options of mild to hot salsa sauces complemented our varied taste buds. We tried the authentic tacos (chicken & pork) and pork nachos with a cake like flan dessert. Nice clean restaurant with very reasonable prices. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will recommend and be back. FYI… don’t listen to that one bad review, from reading her 2 reviews (this restaurant & another Mexican restaurant) she may have bias opinions and ties.

This is definitely the top one or two restaurants with Mexican cuisine which I have had the pleasure to visit. A previous reviewer had something to say about canned margaritas and that they should have walked out. That was certainly not our experience.

Tasty al pastor and pollo asado tacos with Verde salsa. Refreshing Estrella jalisco beer. Fabulous mural in the courtyard with a fountain and a front row seat in town.

When we are craving Mexican we ride out to El Primo . My husband gets the burrito, I get the quesadilla, our boys get the tacos. Don’t forget to get the queso dip. We are so glad we don’t have to drive into town anymore for Mexican.
