We visited and ordered the traditional jerk chicken with Mac and cheese and plantains, beef patties, and a side salad. The salad and beef patties were perfect! The Mac n cheese could use more seasoning. I loved the customer service and the restaurant was tidy and cute!

Food horrible. I ordered the oxtail dinner and the oxtails were dry and hard. They tasted like they were old. The Mac and cheese was entirely too salty and the collard greens tasted salty as well. Highly disappointed, this was my first and last time visiting this place.

It looked like the jerk chicken was prepared and then drenched in the sauce. Jerk chicken and ackee and salt fish for $40. The pics are jerk chicken, sweet potato fries and ackee

We stopped here for lunch on the way back to SC. It’s a short drive from the Outlets tucked away in a small strip shopping center. We viewed the menu, ordered, paid, and sat down with our drinks. The food was freshly made and brought to our table in styro containers in a matter of minutes. My wife had the 3 Jerk Chicken Tacos. Generous portion of tender chicken with a nice sweet mango salsa to help counter the heat. I had the Curry Goat with rice, fried plantains, and collards. Delicious!! Very authentic Jamaican food.

As a first time customer I’ve been coming here frequently within a couple of weeks. I came across this place and decided to give it a try especially since I was craving some good Jamaican food. And man did I luck up..! There’s something special about this place on how the food is cooked. You can definitely tell by tasting it. The food to go was not only appealing with a nice presentation but more importantly the quality and freshness to the taste. I’ve never tasted plantains as good as this place makes them.! The jerk seasoning was just right. A little bit of heat but not overpowering. The mac n cheese was delicious. The tacos are definitely a good choice and freshly made to the taste. My first few experiences have been nothing but great. Its too bad you’re not able to enjoy eating inside due to this covid-19 mess. I’ll definitely continue try their other selections off their menu.

These reviews are so real! Do not waste your gas! This restaurant makes up their own hours. This is the second time I’ve come up there within open hours and the doors are locked with a kitchen FULL of employees looking at me like I’m the problem. Jamaican Patties are the only good item. Very surprising they have such a large space and no one is ever there. Probably bc horrible customer service. There is a man at the register that does absolutely nothing. Doesn’t greet you, take your order, cash you out.. NOTHING! Do NOT waste your time. Go to any other carribbean restaurant in charlotte
