Friendliest bunch! Greeted even before stepping in, not by the staff but someone who frequents to this shop. Could feel that everyone is just so close knit. Food is great, delicious bacon. Would definitely recommend u to stop by.

Finally a Southern restaurant where the food is enjoyable, and the service is great. My pork chops and grits were cooked perfectly, just like I get them in the “country.” Flava’s has GOOD OL’ COUNTRY COOKIN’!

The food is AWESOME! I have been looking for a new bfast place and found it here! The staff was as friendly and welcoming as the father and son owners who personally greeted me asking about the food and experience!! I HIGHLY recommend it and will be back to see if anything is better than the chik waffles and cheese grits I had.

So first of all the location gives you the vibe and feeling you are in a real southers style local type restaurant where they greet you with open arm. And thatis exactly how i was welcomed, never have i walked into a restaurant where the staff greets you with a handshake and “Good Morning sir”. The chemistry the staff shows towards one another is a thing of beauty, while they weren’t waiting on anyone (it was a slow morning with 1 take-out [me] and 2 tables seated) they were dancing and clowning around as if they have been friends all their lives, which is something i enjoy seeing specially from a place serving food. If a person is happy and cooking, guaranteed you’re eating good. The food….. oh the food i had the shrimp and grits with eggs, toast and a side of salmon. I’m sure i ate with my eyes but not an ounce of regret runs through my body. The shrimp had a small kick to it but I’m a fan of spicy and hot and even if you aren’t too fond of spicy I’m sure it managable. I really couldn’t wait and slightly burnt my mouth with the hot grits but it was too good to even stop and let it cool and I’m not even mad at that. Definitely be back soon!

Food is delicious, reasonable prices, good customer service. It’s a black owned business and the owner is really nice and is very well known in the community.

Best chicken and waffles I have ever had. My better half had the smothered pork chop and grits and it was delicious as well. Highly recommend this authentic home cooked food.

Amazing all around. Friendly and delicious. The first time I went here, I made the comment to my wife that the grits were the best I have ever had. I kept having them at other restaurants since, and no other place can compare. I went back again today and had the shrimp and grits, and they did not disappoint in any way. Best grits ever.

This was the best meal I had while in Miami. The grouper and home fries blew me away. The service was outstanding. One of the owners made sure to check in on us and was genuinely interested in our thoughts on our order. I’ll be back for sure. True home cooking that can’t be beat.
