We hosted my sister’s bridal shower at Sabi’s restaurant in their private dining room this weekend. It was my first time there and I was very impressed by the service and food!

I was just passing through from Texas but who knew that this gem is hidden out in the sticks?? I’m a picky person when it comes to food. The One Hot Chick was delicious. My only peave is that the fries were over cook and inedible. The owner was really cool she came to each of our tables to say hi.

We hosted a beautiful baby shower at Sabi’s and would highly recommend for any special event. The room is dark, moody, and modern looking. The owner was a dream to work with, and the service was top notch. Our waitress was excellent. Everyone was raving about how good the food was, “best brunch I’ve had.” Thank you Sabi’s!!

We had four dinners. Ordered two apps. The Yompton and the Spinach artichoke dip. The Yompton comes with greens, burrata, stuffed peppers, and grilled bread. There was no tomato jam, baked burrata is just weird it becomes stringy and then super watery I was not a fan but my friends said it was OK. The sausage was good, bread grilled perfect. The miss on the plate was the greens they needed cooked more and lacked flavor (also missing that tom jam). The spin dip also lacked any real flavor, but the mini Naan was great! Entrees consisted of the special sirloin and shrimp for two of us, the 7 and 14 chicken, and the huli huli pork. All Entrees came with salads and were nice in size with good dressing. My gf got the French onion soup, and it was by far the best thing we ate. The sirloin was rather chewy and super thin. The shrimp looked steamed and had no seasoning. The garlic mash that came on all our plates was hands down the worst thing about the whole meal. They were dry, tasted like instant flakes, and the garlic flavor was bitter and unappealing. My asparagus was undercooked. We did not enjoy the steak and shrimp meal. The huli pork was considered the best meal by all 4 of us. Large in size good grill marks the sauce had great flavor and was not dried out. The chicken was a very large portion. However, being that it was a breaded and fried cutlet, it would be nice for it to have some crunch. However, with so much sauce and cheese, it just became a soggy coating. The sauce was overwhelming and did not taste like marsala, more like bitter garlic. Overall, I was a little disappointed in the meal. I would Def go back for soup and salad, though! The biscuits were super dense and bland!

This place has some really interesting and different foods. I started with the peppers appetizer with bacon. It was amazing, simply amazing. A nice smokey flavor from the sweetened bacon and the delicious flavor of the seared peppers. The onion soup was spot on and NOT salty like most of them are. The salmon was purely delicious. It was cooked perfectly.

Service was fantastic. Ambiance is a little too cool/industrial for me. I’m just kind of over the “pipes sticking out of the wall/ceiling exposed” theme. Spin art dip was fantastic. Best I’ve ever had. A bit disappointed in my meal. It was the shrimp with Asiago gnocchi. The gnocchi were delicate puffs of pure magic that paired well with the sun dried tomatoes and spinach. My shrimp were not great quality, overcooked and dry. The bacon was sweet and salty and was way to heavy and rich for the gnocchi. Fiance had the veal chop. Chop just needed some seasonings, but otherwise a nice slab of meat. Risotto wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great either. Sauce for the veal was delicious with a hint of apple and cinnamon. I will be back. Takes a good while to test the consumers and see what is working out on the menu and what isn’t.

I ordered the Bourbon Sirloin. My brother got the burger, and we also ordered the 7and 14 chicken and Asian Pear Pork. Everything was perfect and it was the best sirloin I have ever had. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I even met the owner Sabi, such a down to earth person. Will be back again.
