Our building was built in 1959 and Cindy is the name of the original owners daughter! The present owner reopened the diner in 1984 and she transformed it to the 50’s theme. We serve Breakfast each day ALL day and we serve lunch and dinner from 11am to closing. We are family owned and operated with three generations of family working within. The owner passed away in 2017 and left the business to her five daughters. We all work very hard each day to keep her dream alive!

Wonderful service. Low prices. I liked my food, my boyfriend wasn’t impressed this time. We’ve been here before when we both enjoyed our food.

first off I definitely don’t give five stars to every single restaurant I actually do consider of a lot of factors when giving reviews so to start off.

This place has become a tradition with me and my daughters when we are doing a daddy-daughter day. The food is great and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and prompt. They are definitely kid friendly. They have a little toy and book section in the back and it’s become part of our tradition to bring something to leave and exchange something new when we visit. My kids even deem little things they see in stores as “let’s get that for Cindy’s!” During the summer they have a terrace on the side of the diner that they open and they usually set out some lawn games and toys for the kids nearby. Another part of our tradition of daddy-daughter days during these adolescent years is to visit playgrounds on a circuit tour during the day. Cindy’s is almost like the first one of the day, and breakfast to boot! Can’t speak highly enough of this place.

Fun kitchy decor, perfect diner menu including milkshakes big enough to share. We had the patty melt with grilled onions and swiss cheese which comes with fries or onion rings. Cooked exactly how I wanted. Delicious. We also had the blueberry pancakes. Pancakes were huge and fluffy. Wish there were more berries but the prices are high right now so that’s probably why. Coffee is good, hot, and plentiful. Our server was quick with a smile and on top of our needs. Recommend a visit for a good diner experience.

We hit Cindy’s on the way home from Newport. Fun, classic diner feel, awesome service and delicious food. The place was packed but it didn’t seem anyone waited too long for their food. I had the avocado toast, which was delicious. My guy had regular bacon, eggs, toast and home fries and he enjoyed his meal as well. Home fries were extra crispy as requested. We would definitely eat here again.

Great diner food. Waitress was awesome. A little tight and about a 15-20 min wait but that’s how you know the place is good.
