Good food but they don’t give sour cream for burritos charging $1. They nickel and dime you for anything extra. Kinda like if McDonald’s charged you for ketchup. Not cool.

Ordered a chicken burrito at the Lockport location, and it was mostly beans and lettuce and the sour cream I ordered. Took half a burrito to taste any chicken. I will never eat here again. Beware people. They skimp on the meat you order. This is the same for the steak burrito as well, minus the sour cream.

From out of town, hoping to find a decent Mexican restaurant for when we are passing through. Unfortunately, it was not here. My biggest pet peeve, not a great first impression with the young sounding girl that answered the phone when I called to ask questions. No enthusiasm, no suggestive selling, no good bye, just hung up when I said thank you. Very rude! Attitude should have been a red flag.

I usually go to the New Lenox location but it’s Sunday and they are closed. I’ll definitely wait until Monday the next time I’m craving. The enchiladas came with no Verde sauce on them and no lettuce. The meat was kind of hard chunks and very little of it. We had two dinners in our order and they only gave us 2 tiny sauces. (NL usually gives 6) Ordered a bag of chips and it was a very small paper bag whereas NL gives a gallon ziploc size. It was edible, but not enjoyable.

Great Mexican food out side of Chicago. My go-to in Lockport. Food is excellent, fresh and reasonably priced. Service is excellent. Just wish they had some low top tables…. I highly recommend El Burrito Loco.

For a $16 burrito dinner I really wish they’d trim the fat off the steak. I spit out almost every piece. The elotes & cheesecake burritos were good though.
