Random stop. Happy we did. Posting in the window shows recent ownership change (dtd 8-22-22). Staff was great and friendly. Food was very good. Very good Huevos Rancheros with a black bean and tomatillo base, not traditional ranchero sauce. Liked it a lot. Wife got Avocado Toast which was fully garnished and had a balsamic glaze surrounding it.

This place is amazing! Everything was fresh and made from scratch that morning. The desserts from the pastry case were like something out of a French patisserie window display and just as flavorful. The chef was very generous and let us sample some of her new pastries as well, staff was wonderful as well! All around a wonderful experience

I dare anyone to tell me this place does not serve the very best coffee in California. Love the owner too. Very hands on and particular. LaQuinta is fortunate to have such a wonderful cafe. No skin in the game jus honest.

Cheerful cafe right down the main strip in Old Town La Quinta. Can’t miss their bright green umbrellas. They’re offering that smooth Joshua Tree espresso. Had to grab a bag to take home! ($19) Order at their counter, take a number, and find a seat in or outdoors. A little pricey for breakfast, but go treat yourself. I’d pass on the Huevos Rancheros next time and try their colossal French Toast!

We have been here 5 times, each time the waitress has not bought what we ordered, the same thing at other tables too. We have to ask more than once to have the forgotten item bought out, the waitress never came back after being asked to clear the previous occupants cups and tipi.
