Had the super burrito and rootbear drink, but as I ate the burrito at home I would bite into a portion of a wooden skewer, it was probably used in the cooking of the chicken, and a hasty cook or sloppy chicken prep was responsible. As it lodged between my gum and tooth I immediately became concerned about any future bites, and opted to discard the burrito, but imagine if I had swallowed the 1/2 inch piece and it caused some internal damage? Dangerous!!

I went to Cassblanca on Union after work. No one came to the window. I left and ran a quick errand, came back and it still took a while before anyone came to the window. Once I was able the order, the Applegate bowl I received had cold chicken and some really old and overcooked Turkey bacon on it. My guess is the cooks didn’t want to have to clean up again as this was 30-40 min before closing. Great waste of time and $20. I won’t be back.

Five stars plus! They have a menu with four different mochas. Their beef chorizo is possibly the best I’ve ever had. Aside from the expected chili and garlic, it had cinnamon and a hint of tongue-numbing Szechuan pepper! Outstanding.

I had the most amazing experience! I ordered about 5 items plus a coffee. They informed me that their card reader was down. I had no cash on me, so they gave me my entire order for free!!! It blew my mind! I couldn’t believe they did that. The owner had made it possible & the staff was so friendly & considerate. I will absolutely be back!
