Excellent quality and friendly staff. I wish they allow seating at the bar. I enjoy watching the chefs while preparing dishes and also interacting with them. I usually dine solo so it’s more comfortable.

My wife were looking for a new sushi place. Although Hinode is a little bit of a ride from our place in the Bronx it looked cute and different. Turned out to be a great choice. The food is excellent and adventurous. If you want very “traditional” sushi it may not be your style, although I am sure their more “traditional” choices are excellent as well. But we loved it. The Avocado Bomb ( as other’s have pointed out ) is amazing their roles are delicious. It is also a a very warm and friendly and cozy atmosphere. The staff are genuinely welcoming and unassuming. Really loved this place and look forward to returning.
