This great little restaurant is off the beaten track. We had been on the road for hours and were starving. Great service. The server started us with fresh tortilla chips and homemade salsa. Very good. I had three street tacos with beans and rice. Delish! Prices were very reasonable. You will be glad you tried La Cocina del Pueblo Mexican Restaurant!

Very sorry to say, we did not care for their food. The chicken enchiladas were made with corn tortillas, no other fillings and a drizzle of bland green chili sauce in top. No garnish. The spanish rice was also from a can. Cute place. Nice people… But not authentic mexican food. Sorry.

Great street tacos, chile rellanos are the best around, home made refried beans with no lard and fresh salsa make this place well worth the trip! Great service and friendly owner, we’ll be back for sure.
