I love eating here when in New Orleans! As with most Asian food, my dairy allergy is of little concern here. Sitting at the BBQ tables is such a unique experience, and the food is always delicious. We usually get the spicy bulgogi and garlic pork belly. I also love to get their kimchi fried rice. Staff is always helpful and attentive. Highly recommend!

Visiting from NYC where there are tons of authentic Korean food and I came in with low expectations given the location, but the food here definitely surpass my expectations by a lot. Spicy ox tail stew is similar to galbi jim but with ox tail, bbq galbi is good but the meat is a bit too thick and they charge extra for lettuce and ssamjang. Soon tofu is decent no complaints there. That being said, it still deserves a 5 star in terms of authenticity, price and portion.

Pretty good Korean food. We got a regular table-not the bbq grill. Gghan Poong chicken was amazing. It took a while for it to come out but was well worth it. I think it’s Korean style orange chicken-the chicken was juicy and crispy, but not hard the chew. Volcano kimchi fried rice was pretty good. Interesting. Bulgogi dolsot was okay. I would’ve preferred a regular bowl instead of the hot stone but it filled the craving. That’s more of a personal preference.

Very nice and clean place. Definitely recommend the Korean fried chicken, beef mandu, kimchi fried rice, and beef bulgogi. There only 6 grills but there is other seating and you can still order the meats its just they cook it for you.

To be honest, I did not expect much of authenticity in NOLA. I’ve seen countless mediocre Korean restaurants in many small and large cities in different states. I’ve tried other so called Korean restaurants in the different parts of NOLA. But to my great surprise, this place has done it well. I’m a Korean foodie who’s always in a search for a good cuisine. And I did not expect Little Korea BBQ to remotely even come close to Korean restaurants found in cities like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. But they surely provided and option for self grilling environment as well as excellent kitchen menus that were not attempts of Korean dishes. Many of the dishes that we have order had the authentic flavor. Not all, however, are considered the best that I’ve had, but it was good enough. When I asked to be spicy, it was spicy enough. Side dishes were authentic and replenished free of charge as it should be. So, there is my approval stamp . If this restaurant was in highly populated oriental Asian area, it may have receive 3 stars for few of less than good dishes (such as yaki udon). But for being where it is, I must give 5 stars for pioneering 정신.

Was craving Korean food so decided to take a visit here. We got brisket and pork belly for kbbq and the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice came with beef which we didn’t know. The meat quality was good. Service was great. Place was clean and neat. I’d come back.
