I’ve been coming to Uncle Al’s since I moved here in 2016! It never disappoints. This was though my first time at the Greenbrier location and let me just say the staff was so nice Food was fast and delicious, definitely the best mozzarella sticks you’ll ever have! First time here. I was looking for a go to burger shop. This double cheeseburger was amazing with the grilled onions. I also had a large iced tea and got out of there with a total of under $10. The service was excellent with a smile and made me feel very welcome. I am happy to say I found my new burger place.

I was gonna leave this review yesterday, but I could not decide between 3 or 4 star rated. The food sucked, I’ve eaten at ever Famous Al’s in the area. Get the same thing every time. The staff was amazing expect the guy in the purple shirt had so much foul language in his vocabulary. The food looked good, but I’m pretty sure my bratwurst was expired, it had a foul flavor not typical of the chain. The mozzarella sticks were over done. But the lady who took my order and brought it to did that amazing. She was worth the tip I left but the food really didn’t live up to the famous Al’s standard I’ve grown up to expect.

We actually ate here on a whim, not knowing anything about Uncle Al’s. Within a week we have been back twice already! Great food, great prices, great service! Staff is friendly and helpful! Bar top view to the kitchen area, so you can see food being prepared. If you are able to dine in, the table tops have fun “hotdog” trivia on them. You can request the answers from an employee. They have amazing cranberry walnut chicken salad! I highly recommend this establishment

This is an amazing small business. I stopped in to give it a try, wanting a local place to grab a quick bite. The crew is all smiles, friendly service, the grill was being handled first rate. Food was delicious, hot, and fast. But definitely not what we have co e to recognize as fast food. There was a pool hall in my home town growing up. It was a small town favorite where the food was great and you felt at home. In all my travels, this is the closest I have found to that grill. I will be listing this in my top favorites. Was looking forward to grabbing something quick to hold us over for a couple of hours before dinner meeting. Ordered 3 fries, 1 mozzarella stick, and a hotdog for our team. First when we returned to hotel and opened the bag, no mozzarella sticks. The fries were awful and undercooked. How do you mess up crinkle cut fries one of the team drove back to get the mozzarella sticks and they were apologetic. Nobody ate all their fries the person who ate the hotdog couldn’t tell me if it was good or not because they said they were so hungry they could eat anything my daughter said the mozzarella sticks were okay.

This is a busy place to eat with all the trappings of a line style hotdog shop. All the food is great: the chicken salad, the club, the burgers, the onion rings and the hotdogs. Add mustard onions and chili to it all. I like the specials. great combinations with fries and a drink between $7 and $10 bucks per person. Wonderful.

First time visit. Walked in no greeting from staff, walked up to counter for take order and the person behind counter didn’t say anything just stood there filling out gift. After she finally made eye contact she asked if she could help. I placed my order and she took my name and order and when it was ready just handed it to me and said have a nice day. I had to remind her that i hadn’t paid then she moved over and some else rang me up. Clearly her mind was somewhere else. Didn’t feel welcomed in this place.
