Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when I stopped by, but from what I could see, it looks like a hidden gem. The restaurant is a cool outdoor space with unique and stylish decor that caught my attention immediately.

Above the order window is a little sign stating they will add a 10% service charge. I didn’t notice this when I placed my order. The food photo I posted is what you get for $50 at a self service outdoor setting restaurant. The food and service itself was okay. I ordered the brisket which was good and very tender but was about 1/3 fat. Would I return, no, would I recommend it, maybe for Ice Cream if you want to enjoy their outdoor area which does offer some games and decent music.

Yummy fast food. We’d heard about the delicious hot dogs — locally sourced near Claverak and all beef. Drenched in freshly made and picante chilli, delicious. Our group went big with fried chicken, chilli bowls, french fries, pulled pork sandwich. Heard the BBQ and ice cream was great. Next time. Outdoor dining is a slum, wait till warmer weather or dine in your car.

This place is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t mind the ridiculously high prices if the food was actually good. Almost $45 for ribs that were extremely tough and dried out/over cooked, and a half chicken that wasn’t even close to being fully cooked. There was blood pouring out the chicken. The whole bottom of the food container was all bloody and only chicken was in that container. When I spoke with one of their employees she made it seem like it’s something that has happened often. I would not recommend this place to anyone at all, ever, for anything.

Authentic BBQ, you get what you pay for. I haven’t had a pulled pork sandwich this good since I was in Mississippi. The burgers are also out of this world! You can tell the coleslaw is homemade. And the softserve is to die for. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I recommend stopping here any chance you get.

Have been a few times. Food is always cooked fresh and to order. If you want some good bbq Jackson’s is the place to go. Yummy ice cream too! I give the kids that work there a lot of credit. It’s been brutally hot and the girl that works there is friendly and always has a smile on her face.

we spontaneously stopped by this place for a quick bite after leaving art omi. best decision ever!!!! probably the best brisket and best hot dog we ever had! we only wished we had the time to enjoy a bigger meal on a good day as we would have loved to stay there, to have ordered more and eaten at the outdoor tables while enjoying drinks. it is pricey but knowing their ingredients are locally source, it is SO worth it. the girl working there was so nice, too. gave us a complimentary sweet tea on the side! must check it out!

After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. Read the hamburgers were the best so we ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers. Wanted fries but there weren’t any. Also wanted ice cream but the ice cream machine wasn’t working. Wish I could say the burgers were the best, they weren’t. Not sure what that white sauce was it was pretty bad. Burgers were way over cooked and were bland. And of course the price, $31.00 for 2 bland burgers, no fries or ice cream. Don’t think we will be back there. Many people drove up, read the menu and left. Bring back the ice cream, hamburger place it used to be.

I ordered a brisket sandwich and a half pound of pulled pork, the meat was Smokey and tender. Staff was phenomenal and so accommodating. Wonderful music playing outside as well as games out for kiddos. Would highly recommend coming here.
