Was a beautiful experience!! Atmosphere is regal, love the ambiance. The music was wonderful..the food was just amazing!!!! I wish more people would tip the Cook/Chef when it’s much needed to be recognized!! He was just shocked!! Only complaint we had was when we first walked in, how we were greeted. Seemed complicated to seat us and the discussion with the bartender and our server was quite awkward in front of us. But truly was just amazing!! Can’t wait to return!

Loved it! Loved everything about it — the food, the service and the atmosphere. When we pulled in, I was a bit nervous. From the outside, it’s nothing special. The inside is completely different, walk in and you are transported back to New York in the 1980s. We were visiting for an event in the area and chose this place because of online reviews. It did not disappoint. Our group had the veal chop, cowboy steak (special), chicken picatta and the filet. The gratin potatoes and 2nd wedding soup should not be missed. Everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly! Highly recommend!!

Honestly one of the best thai meals I’ve ever had in Oregon. The bartender Jen was amazing. We will be back!

I got there right as the kitchen opened and still got my food in a reasonable amount of time. The food was great and I had a wonderful time the bartender was lovely and checked on me a few times and even helped pack up.

Amazing food and great people. First time there and Jo took my order 15 min before kitchen closing. I showed up to a pristine restaurant, incredible service, and the best salmon I’ve ever had. I’ll be back many times. Thank you, Jo and everyone there!

I’m from out of town (Massachusetts) and we were so glad we found this place. Loved the atmosphere, our waitress was great and the food was very good. If I am in the area again I will definitely come here again.

We arrived at the end of the dinner service, so they were out of a few things. Regular glasses were waiting to be washed, so our beverages were served in cocktail glasses; but the waitress was good at seeing we had refills. Food was slow in coming, but served hot and absolutely delectable. Among our dishes were veal, chicken piccata, and chicken parmesan. The servings were so generous, we all took home half our meals.

We have always wanted to go here and it did not disappoint. Great wine selection! Something I love is a restaurant not trying to upsell you on wine. Wise guys is for sure playing the long game and they won. They update the wine list often so it’s not always accurate and that’s ok the owner came out to talk to us about our choices with in our price point that would pair well. As he helped us select a wine I mentioned I appreciated him staying within a range I was comfortable with he said “I’d rather sell you a few bottles then one over priced one” and well played sir because you will be selling me hundreds. You, your staff and the ambiance have gained customers for life. We ordered courses. My favorite thing! We started with the crab cakes, good. Then the wedge salad, decent. Then we shared the lamb, pretty darn good. The lamb was cooked perfectly with this delightful crust on the outside med rare inside. Amazing. We sat at the bar and would definitely do it again but we also could see us taking family members here for a celebration or doing a date night in the dinning room. I called before coming to ask about a dress code they said “we’re upscale dining with a casual atmosphere” and she hit the nail on the head. We wanted wise guys to be exactly what it was. Good food locals regulars and the owner hanging out with a cool bar to eat at.

Beautifully, the best kept secret in the whole of Akron and the surrounding areas. It’s like a trip to your grandparent’s dining room table when you were young. This is not fast food and is the kind of place that you should plan on staying in a while and having some pleasant conversation because this food is prepared with the best of ingredients and cooked to perfection. Meaning, no short-cuts. The taste says it all!!!

Free standing dated building with lots of parking on property. Cozy, nostalgic atmosphere. Furniture worn but still comfy. Nice old school feel when we walked in this establishment. Service was pleasant. Server was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable of the menu. Nice menu as well as wine and spirits menu. Food presentation was nice. Boyfriend ordered chicken marsala. Was good but not great. I ordered the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce. Sauce drowned the dish and was all I could taste, could’ve used more pasta to balance out the overwhelming sauce. Did not eat but 2 bites. Should’ve ordered something else. Dinner served with bread and side of olive oil for dipping. Was tasty but could’ve used fresh roasted garlic, basil and red wine vinegar for a delightful flavor. Ordered a simple bottle of dry red wine. Was good and would order again. Overall, we enjoyed this restaurant and will return to try something different on the menu to please our palates. Would recommend coming here to others. Server made our first time experience a delightful one. Bon appetit everyone and Godspeed!
