Been eating at Los Cucos at home for years. Usually it is good. Not sure if this one is a franchise, or an actual Los Cucos. There was a horrible sewer gas smell. They are remodeling, but still a turn off. The steak was supposed to be medium rare. It was done. Service was okay.

Remodeling is looking good-love the new outdoor patio area with the garage-type doors that can be raised-can’t wait to enjoy it more when it’s a little cooler! We love the Happy Hour menu and drinks–we were disappointed to see one of our favorite items on this menu was discontinued, but Henry (Manager) was very kind and helpful and said it would be available next time we came in. Waitstaff has been really good–we’ve had several great experiences with Karen G. as our waitress and today Carlos L. was awesome!

The service was fantastic! We stopped in our way home from Matagorda and we’re very impressed with everything about this restaurant. We really enjoyed the food. Everything tasted wonderful. I had the beef fajitas chimichanga and my husband had the beef enchiladas. Very flavorful and presented beautifully. We will definitely be coming back.

Took waiter 3 times to get an easy order right. Asked for bean chalupa with lettuce and tomatoes only. Tell me why I was served shredded chick chalupa with cheese and then 2nd time around had everything as 1st except chicken. Finally 3rd time order was right.

Food and service were great, but because they’re under renovations/construction at the time of this review and visit, it was a little warm if you were sat close to the entrance. After the renovations are complete, this place looks like it’ll be the spot to go! Looks great!
