Amazing and unique flavors. When’s the last time you ordered 3 meals and a side for 35$? We got braised chicken soup which was the best item, tender chicken in an awesome red broth. The stewed lamb broth was so so yummy, the lamb itself was good. Chinese hamburger was yummy, melt in your mouth fatty (beef?) with a crispy flat bread. And the chow mein was also really good. Quick and cheap to boot.

Stopped by for takeout. Ordered the steamed dumplings and the Chinese hamburger (ROU JIA MO) and they were freshly prepared within 10 min. Reasonably priced at $12 for both appetizers. There are four steamed dumplings per order and they were good, though the dumpling skin was thicker than I prefer. The Chinese hamburger is pretty unique for those who have not sampled cuisine from Shaanxi province. The sandwich was only filled with seasoned pork; while delicious, it could have benefitted from some pickled veggies to balance the flavor. Dipping it in the dumpling sauce and hot chili oil helped a bit.

Delicious noodles. Perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. There aren’t that many hand pulled noodle places around so I’m glad I was able to stop by a place when I was in Philadelphia. There are some vegetarian options but I wish there was more. I recommend if you are around.

If you like Chinese style soup this is the place for you. I had the beef spare rib soup. It was delicious. The beef was super tender and the broth was deep and flavorful. The atmosphere is nothing special but then you aren’t there for the atmosphere you’re there for the excellent Chinese food

Deep fried (savory) dough, 油条, is a sweet childhood memory, an everyday indulgence enjoyed by many in China, and a rarity in the US. I put this put on the want to go list once I hear 油条 is on offer here. One issue vote by foot, lol. While I was here, trie their spicy tripe chowder, hog trotter in brine, hand pulled noodle soup with tripe, egg in a flatbread. Have yet to find anything to complain about. Got a pack of 4 pork and veg in steamed dough (包子)as take out. It turned into a quick and satisfying lunch for two the next day.

Tried a lot of things. My favorite is the fried pork casserole, and my husband’s is the lamb noodles. Other things are good and very cheap.

You walk into a small restaurant. Waiter/Cashier greets you to be seated. The service was quick and tasty! There is one unisex bathroom. Over all the food was delicious and fresh.

Lamb stewed noodle soup is incredible. This is my new favorite noodle spot in Philly. Rich hearty broth, hand-pulled noodles. 5 starts for that bowl of noodles alone.

Surprise, cash only!! Very good food. The service is a bit difficult because there was a language barrier,. The hot sauce fish fillet was excellent, as were the salted green beans. The roast pork chow fun had little pork and the noodles did not look li km e the usual chow fun. Still very tasty. . Big portions. The best of the two restaurants I have tried in Philly Chinatown. Recommended!
