The food is really good and I think they have the best chips and salsa of any Mexican restaurant I’ve been too. The service is hot or miss but more towards the miss. We always order a cheese dip but we may or may not get it. After the food comes to the table it’s hard to get service after that. You usually sit a while waiting for your bill and then waiting to pay. I’ve started handing them my card when they bring the bill to speed things up.

My server was Evelin. I started off by asking here some difficult Questions about Mexican food. She was very knowledgeable and responsive to my questions. She insured my lunch was served as I had requested which made the lunch very enjoyable. The restaurant manager also came over and spoke with us which added to the lunch being enjoyable. The food and beverages were very good. I will go back to Viva Villa again to try other items on the menu.

This is about the 3rd time my work associates placed an online order that wasn’t ready for pickup. After a long wait they brought out half the order…after another long wait the brought out the balance. It took a total of 1 hr and 12 minutes.

I had the Burrito California and my daughter had the 12 piece coconut shrimp. My daughter enjoyed her shrimp. The mango sauce that came with it, she found a bit spicy. I was enjoying my burrito California except that the grilled onions and peppers were not really grilled. The onions and peppers were hard, almost to raw point, so as I was picking them out I also found 2 kernels of corn and 4 sweat peas which were not supposed to be there. Unsure why they were in there as it does not mention these ingredients on the menu. Overall, it was an ok experience.

Went here for father’s day. The leather table and chairs looked filthy. Honestly all around did not look clean (surprisingly since it is newer restaurant). Couldn’t talk to each other since the music was so loud. Service wasn’t great, and neither was the food. Shocked this restaurant has a 4.4 rating! We won’t be eating here again.

Never again! I am in the food industry, and the waiter next to my table dropped a plate of food on a chair, picked up with his hands no gloves and left. My waiter came and served it to the customer, I immediately call her over and told her what had happened and she went to the kitchen, did not even apologize the customer which customer saw everything happen, did not offer a new plate just serve her the plate with the food that was on the chair. That’s unacceptable and disgusting. You need to train your staff and have them take their Servesafe certification which they definitely need, they also have it in spanish. It’s unfair for the customer to come to your restaurant with their family and spend money there to be served unacceptable food! My waiter forgot part of order and never came to ask if I needed anything.

Great food! Love their quesabirrias and street tacos but their Molcajete dish is delicious. Very different from the way it’s cooked and served in other restaurants. The place is nice and with an enjoyable atmosphere.
