Clean and AC conditioned space. Service is kind and fast. The burrito bowl was worth it. We tried carnitas which were delicious. It’s not authentic Mexican food as other people pointed out, but better than Taco Bell or Qdoba. The tres leches on the other hand is not worth having here, it’s not moist enough even though the cake was floating. Still, I won’t take a star for one dish since the rest was so nice.

I hate to write this here but after trying to contact the restaurant several times I feel it’s the fair thing to do so I can warn others. My husband and I had a horrifying experience with our take out order last week and have been trying to get ahold of the establishment but we can’t. When you call, there are two options: to place your order online or email if you need to contact them. There’s no one you can talk to. We’ve emailed them several times with no response.

We ordered many times before but in the last few months this place is getting worse and worse. The reason I say that is because they always forget to add what you asked for and also, never ever get something extra because they will charge you for it and not add it.. very disappointing and frustrating especially when prices are not cheap. We decided not to go back to this place ever again.

Food quality is just bad. Very far away from authentic Mexican food, if this place said “Texmex grill” instead, I would not feel obligated to write this review. If you are looking for a great authentic food experience then go elsewhere.

My family has been frequenting Don Juan in Lafayette and Easton the last couple of years so it pains me to share this disappointing experience at the Lafayette location. Half of my carnitas bowl was blobs of fat (see pic). The whole bowl tasted salty and fatty. Additionally, the taco shell in my wife’s taco salad was somewhat stale. Please bring back the quality!

The food is not good. It’s pretty bad. The “queso” is basically movie theater nacho cheese, some neon yellow velveeta concoction. The chimichanga *was not fried* and was covered in the neon “queso”. The rice and beans looked like diarrhea. I don’t want to sound rude, but you should know what you’re ordering. See pics. Tacos y tequila is waaaaaaay better.
