Beautiful quiet spot on a golf course. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was great. I had the Cajun shrimp gumbo and fried green tomatoes. It was very delicious. And the live jazz music was superb. I really enjoyed myself and will be back❤️

We had the best dinner last night! After playing 9 holes of golf we went to Bistro On The Greens and had an amazing dinner! We had the fried green tomatoes and fried alligator for appetizers. Then for our main dish I had the ribeye, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus with a cheddar biscuit. My husband had the blackened catfish, cheddar grits, and cornbread. The dinner was so good! We ate on the patio and loved it! It was so serene looking out over the golf course and they lit a little fire and turned the lights on when it got dark out. The inside was amazing as well! I felt like I was in Louisiana or somewhere in the south. I got to meet the chef too and told him we loved the place and would be back! So, for your next date night check out this place, whether you golf or not! They also have drinks!

My favorite restaurant in IN! The atmosphere, decor and music was wonderful. The artwork is big and fabulous of old jazz greats and if you appreciate the music from some of the greatest jazz musicians of the last 100 years, this is the place for you. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Portions were generous. The Gumbo was the best I have eaten. Others in our group had chicken, pork chops, shrimp and grits; and, we all loved our meals. The server was friendly, professional and attentive. The owner/chef introduced himself which was classy and smart. This restaurant is open Thu-Sun. I wish we had a restaurant like this in Maryland.

The food was delicious and was the best Cajun cooking I’ve had outside of New Orleans ( and better than some in NOLA!) The chef visited our table and clearly took pride in his restaurant and the dishes he prepared. Our sever was friendly and attentive!

We are big fans of Chef John and Bistro on the Greens! We have enjoyed so many of the delicious entrees! The Shrimp Jambalaya was beautifully presented and super tasty! The Blackened Yardbird was incredibly juicy and flavorful, served with succulent greens and sweet potato mash! Our server, Janie was charming and very attentive! Thank you!

We just moved to the area and came here for date night. Great intimate, cozy atmosphere. All the staff were so friendly. The food and drinks were phenomenal and very reasonably priced! Loved the large windows with beautiful views of the golf course. Looking forward to returning to experience some live music!

Where do I start. My husband and I absolutely love the Bistro, the food, the atmosphere and of course, the view of the beautiful golf course as we dine. It is one of our favorites for date nights and special celebrations. The food is amazing and we love it when they have live jazz. The owner, James, and staff make you feel most welcome and are very personable. If you don’t want the hassle of dealing with the traffic and parking going to Chicago, this is a hidden gem right here in Indiana.
