Quality of the food was poor. Very overpriced also for the small portions. The fish in the picture was $17 and gross – no taste or flavor . The server asked why we didn’t like the fish and we told her. But she still didn’t take it off the bill. We ordered combination soup too and the taste was very bland- it was a bunch of scrapes thrown together.

They say this place is a humble restaurant and how right they are! I love the atmosphere and the dutiful workers who make this place what it is. I greatly enjoyed the food it was crisp & fresh! A fine culinary experience in an area with a great selection of delicious and fine competition.

Too many side sides. It could be better to focus on the main menu. food looks good. That’s it.

If you want to try any good Korean dish, this is the place to be. You cannot go wrong with any dish here. Every dish is solid. They are not the absolute best, but great value overall. They offer good portions and taste.

One of my favorite locations in Concord for some good old fashion tasty Korean bbq! The service is fast and friendly. The food is always consistently tasty and never disappointing. You always leave feeling completely satisfied. Strongly recommend this spot!

We went to the restaurant on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. We ordered bulgogi, broiled mackerel, and spicy chicken. The table next to us had ordered just before we had. They brought out the man’s regular teriyaki chicken and placed it in front of him. We overheard him complaining that he had ordered the spicy chicken. They took his chicken back and within a minute brought out an order of spicy chicken for him. They then brought us our bulgogi and mackerel, but our teenage son’s order of spicy chicken did not come out with our order. After a couple of minutes, an order of teriyaki chicken was placed in front of him. I reminded the waitress that he had ordered spicy chicken. Less than five minutes later, she returns with spicy chicken. The order looked fine, but my son said the chicken was very dry and hard. After having received what appeared to be the other table’s reheated teriyaki chicken and returning it, I am guessing that they took the chicken back, rinsed it off, recoated it in spicy sauce and reheated the chicken a third time. The bulgogi and mackerel were fine, but we already were feeling suspicious about the quality of the restaurant. We will not be returning.

Great lunch spot with full house crowd all the time for their fully loaded lunch spl that will satisfy both your taste and stomach without bleeding cash. No wonder it’s been around forever and still packed like the first day opener. Quick services too at a great location.

I need to start off by mentioning that I do not know a lot about Korean cuisine. We also ended up at this restaurant because the first 2 we tried had 45-90 minutes wait times, and were more of a destination for a Saturday night out. This place had plenty of seating available at 8pm in Park ‘n Shop and was definitely casual, family dining. I ordered the Dolsot Bibm Bap, and my boyfriend ordered the Bul Gogi. The Dolsot was so f-ing hot for the first 20 minutes I could not eat it! Also, metal chop sticks are heat conductors with burning hot serve ware. Stupid and dangerous. I munched on all of the condiments that came with the Bul Gogi while I waited for mine to cool. The glass noodles were tasty, the red pasty stuff was really sweet and yummy. I tried the white, jello-cube looking things but not sure how that should be incorporated into a dish. Oh well. When I could finally eat my Dolsot Bibm Bap the rice was nice and crispy at the bottom, and the whole thing was delicious. I added the kimchi and red pasty stuff. I will definitely eat here again when I am hungry and impatient.

Courteous service. However, sometimes you may run into a staff who doesn’t speak much English, which makes communication difficult. Bulgogi is always my favorite. The Daegi could be better. Prices are reasonable.
