Breakfast was good and good price on the bill. Poached eggs done to perfection and wall decor that makes your feel that this place is special. I like the steernwheeler pictures, the muskets and the wood work on the trim.

Went to the Easter Brunch. The food was very good. The vegs and Potatos we fantastic. The couscous was very good also. I didn’t find any issue with any of the meats. Of course the desserts were fantastic.

My wife and I take a weekly road trip to a different county seat in Ohio and eat at a local restaurant when we’re there. When we visited Washington County we stayed at the Lafayette Hotel for our 50th Anniversary and The Gun Room was our chosen restaurant. It was dinner time and the service was friendly but a bit overwhelmed. The food was very good! It was a pleasant experience.

This review is for the bar. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick lunch. Place was nearly empty…2 other couples. Service was horrible. Food was not cooked as ordered…how difficult is it to make a medium rare burger? Waitress disappeared after bringing out our lunch, which took 25 minutes. The worst part was getting buffalo chicken sauce on the side with our hamburgers instead of ketchup. Now we know why the place was nearly empty. What a disappointment.
