Geisha sushi has a pared down menu with a little something for everyone. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We ordered both vegetable and pork gyoza; fried. They were hot and crispy. The dumpling sauce was absolutely amazing and I retained a sauce vessel to dunk sushi in later. The side salad was a refreshing addition. I ordered Caterpillar roll and daughter ordered The Fox roll. The presentation was everything! Both rolls were delicious, if not a little loosely rolled. The restaurant smells clean, but the floors and tables were quite sticky. The bathroom floor was like walking on a glue trap. The staff were pleasant and service was friendly and efficient. Overall, a wonderful little dinner while enjoying First Friday downtown.

The food and presentation is far beyond the price point! My husband and I paid less than $30 for food (not including tip), and not only was the sushi good (especially the sweet sauce on the shrimp roll) but it came on adorable wooden boats, and one of them had a cool dry ice effect with it. It made for a really cool date.

Excellent presentation with great food quality. Everything looked and tasted amazing. Highly recommend their sushi, especially the caterpillar roll and the white tiger (pictured). Pork was cooked beautifully and was very crispy in the tonkatsu pork dish.

Good food. Atmosphere was great, located in downtown Columbia. Very good on presentation. Well priced too. Service was adequate, but not anything special. Otherwise five stars. Would do 4.5 if I could.

Definitely the best Japanese Restaurant in Town. Qualities of roll and sushi were much better than the other sushi restaurants in the area including St. Louis area even. I wasn’t expecting to find such a good quality sea food in Columbia, so it was a nice surprise. Also, pork katsu was thick and crispy. Super convenient location in downtown, and friendly staffs makes it even better.

What a terrific place to grab a bite to eat. The food was delicious and the presentation…wow! Very nicely done! Prices are very reasonable and service was quick. I also appreciated that they let me bring in a small cake for my daughter as we were celebrating her birthday. They were so kind and even provided new plates and silverware for us to use. They don’t do the sushi boat anymore! The quality of this place has gone down drastically. $10 for spicy tuna roll with barely any fish. My 7 year old said it was a spicy vegetable roll. The yellow tail roll was mostly rice & it was mixed with so much green onion, it was basically an onion roll. Spent $90 before tip for basically rice & vegetables. Worst sushi in Columbia.

Food is always delicious here, and staff is great. There’s a complexity of flavors in every dish; my favorites are the mango citrus salad dressings, the tonkatsu barbeque sauce, and the light wasabi Mayo on the rice. We ordered Chicken Tonkatsu, Monkey Brains, Miso and salad, Kissing the Red cocktail, and the Shawn Roll. Everything was delicious. The cold rolls are great to takeout, like the Batman Roll, but some fried rolls loose their crisp with takeout.
