If you’re in Houma around lunch (they close at 2) and looking for an affordable home cooked meal, give this place a try! They have a strawberry salad on the menu (with your choice of meat, my go to is the fried chicken) and it’s honestly the best salad I’ve ever eaten. They make their own dressing and it’s phenomenal. Honestly, every thing I’ve tried on the menu has been great.

Michele’s is definitely a “hole in the wall”, “mom and pop”, and “cozy” wrapped all into one place. The service is excellent, the food is great, and the prices are fair. We ordered the daily special and off the menu. And I was amazed on how fast the orders were ready. The tea and lemonade are as good, if not better, as Canes and Chick-fil-A! Thank you ladies for a great lunch! You are very personable and look forward to going back!

Catering: 10/10 would recommend for catering your wedding or event! They use the best and most fresh ingredients. Delicious homestyle cooking! We had the best catering including fruits and vegetables, sandwiches, taco dip, shrimp dip, spinach dip, seafood bisque, boudin balls, jambalaya, white beans, chicken pasta, and more! It made our special day even better, and I cannot thank Mrs. Michele and her crew enough for everything they did.
