This place has some bad reviews so skeptical we were. Well……the wings were amazing and we had 30 with 3 different sauces. The pizza isn’t the best but had good flavor and is nothing to look at. Service was great!!!( it was her first day. Cavallo’s wings are much better than killabrew, hands down.

Took our family for dinner last night. Asked that all food come out together. The salad came out first. It wasn’t bad, some of the lettuce was past its prime. Next the pizza and fried meatballs came out. The meatballs were very good. The pizza which we ordered extra crispy was bad. The dough was not cooked all the way and the taste was awful. We sent that back. The chicken wings my grandson ordered were good. My daughter in law ordered a chicken caesar salad which took so long we got it to go. When she went to eat it 98 percent of the lettuce was bad. Boy has this place went down hill. So much for having are food come out all at once. Bad food.

I recently enjoyed 60-cent wing night at Cavallo’s, and it was a treat! The variety of flavors available made it hard to decide. The wings were delightfully crispy, and my choice of “everything sauce” was an absolute winner—deliciously satisfying. I can’t wait to return for another round of flavorful wings!

For the most part, Cavallo’s restaurant has pretty good food, depending on your tastes!! BUT, the pizza crust is terrible…very “doughy!”. Honestly, I can not recommend the pizza at all!! The wait staff are nice, and the prices are reasonable!! The wings are good…but they don’t give you much sauce!! Stay clear of the “doughy” pizza, and you should be okay!!

Based on the recommendation of a colleague – We decided to order pizza via takeout from Cavallo’s over the weekend. Overall – Our experience was a bit underwhelming. Both pizzas were lacking toppings (We ordered one mushroom and one pepperoni). In addition – One of the pizzas was undercooked. Giving a 3* rating due to our limited sample size of their menu. However – There are definitely better pizza options in the greater Utica area.

Food was not good at all. Wife ordered the Rigatoni with marinara. I ordered a cajun burger. When the server brought our food the rigatoni did not have marinara sauce, or anything that can be considered sauce at all. It was like someone opened a can of crushed tomatoes, added a little herb (maybe), and threw it on top of the pasta. Meatballs were mushy and flavorless. The whole dinner was completely inedible for sure. We will not return.

Staff asked us to sit in the bar area because it was more convenient to serve us, which is fine. Then they sat an entire 3 tables plus full of a screaming toddler party. Holy cow they were monsters! Staff knew it was coming and didn’t ask us if we wanted to move tables. Due to my PTSD and anxiety, I had to leave an otherwise enjoyable time with family. Ruined my meal and the parents of those kids made comments and thought it was funny. If you gave your food away I still wouldn’t be back.

Great food the wings were AMAZING!!!! One of the best places to eat in town. The stuff was okay and it took a while for our food to come out even though their was not very many customers there. Other then that the food was very good and it was a very clean facility and family friendly.
