As a newcomer to Mobile, I was excited to try Mediterranean Sandwich Co. They certainly did not disappoint. The gyro was fantastic! Very generous in size and taste was incredible, including 2 sides! The dolmades were among the best I’ve ever had! Everything made fresh to order. I can now see why they have received so many awards and why they are always busy. Consistency is so important. Even with the meager size of the restuarant it is completely unnoticeable due to the amazing staff and delicious food! I got a broccoli cheddar soup (I don’t typically like it) and it made me a fan! The staff are funny and personable and you can just tell they like what they do.

Great sandwich shop. Gyros and Shawarma! So good! I had The Redneck Shawarma and dolmas. Very, very good! I highly recommend if you are unsure of eating a traditional gyro or any of the other selections. You can get chips or orzo pasta as sides. I just choose dolmas since I haven’t had them in a while. A friend who is a picky eater tried the chicken gyro and enjoyed it. So, trust if she like it…it was good. Awesome lunch spot!

This place has been a staple of my work-week diet for years. I’ve only been to the Dauphin St and Daphne locations, but the food has been consistent between both places. I’m a Gyro-lover but the Mixed Grill is awesome too. And the Bacon Carbonara Orzo side could easily be a main dish.
