The food was good and flavorful I had the babo burger with truffle fries. We also had chicken and waffles (tender chicken) and a children’s breakfast big enough for an adult. I would def recommend this place if your in the area.

Right next to the inn on ferris street, this place was amazing. The truffle fries were enough that I could have had only them and been happy. The spicy chicken sandwich has a texture that I can only describe as reminiscent of a deep fried sushi roll and highly recommend it. The mac and cheese with bacon was also very good. The French 75 tastes like lemonade, the French 75 is also alcoholic and shouldn’t taste near as good as it does. The coffee is also very good and as a vanilla latte it was especially good. Highly recommend this place if you are in Detroit.

Perfect place for brunch. Nice menu with decent prices, pretty small space though. The staff was friendly. I recommend the lavender lemonade!

Be right back, adding Babo to my list of brunch staples in Detroit! Though we’ve drove by this place a million time we only just now *finally* stopped in for some brunch. And man, am I disappointed we didn’t come sooner.

I just knew the second my tastebuds tasted the crème brûlée french toast that I had died and gone to heaven. That, or somehow I was transported to the delectable eats of Paris, France. Nevertheless, this has to be one of the best places in town. The food was top tier, great cost, and the ambiance was upscale. Literally dining here was an experience and the barista made my latte look so pretty. Babo went out of their way to accommodate us when they were full and when my dear husband was disappointed they had no beef breakfast options they allowed him to order a beef patty from one of their burgers for an extremely reasonable price. All in all, I recommend this place to any and everyone. You will love it guaranteed. My husband said the food was Chef’s kiss and even asked to speak to the manager to compliment the restaurant as he is a restaurant GM himself and was impressed with the food and service. I think that alone says it all. We hope to return soon.

Showed up no reservation they said 45 min wait … no problem not even 10 min later they had a table for us. The house blend coffee was great then we got the bottle of mimosas that was great as well came with oj raspberry and pineapple juices we got to pick 3 there was probably about 7 different juice options all tasted very fresh. My girlfriend got a skillet which was great tasted very fresh as well. I got the creme Brule French toast. Honestly the best French toast variation I have ever had I can’t recommend enough that goes for this whole restraunt this place is amazing it is small so I suggest reserving a table but over all this place is amazing

Part of a perfect rainy Summer Sunday! Went to brunch at Babo before an afternoon at the DIA. We had a great time! Food was awesome: huevos rancheros for me and eggs Benedict for my wife. Both dishes were delicious. We sat at the bar and the bartenders took really good care of us. The espresso martinis were awesome and I highly recommend the passion fruit mimosas. Will be back to try others. Shout out to bartender Hadley and our new friend Rio. Try Babo!

The wait was long but it was worth it. The food is very flavorful, and the service is friendly. The space is small, which is the reason why the wait time was long, but we went to the DIA while we waited (they allow for reentry!).

This was literally the best breakfast food I’ve ever had. I got the crème brûlée French toast, and whenever I order it anywhere else, it’s kind of just a normal French toast. Babo’s French toast has that sugary crisp on the top of the French toast. The amount of food you get is like wow. All I can say is wow. Thankfully I go to school in Detroit so I can stop here more often! 10/10!!!
