Food is sometimes hit or miss, but the Fried rice is always super good. This place delivers super fast and that’s the best part. Lady on the phone is super nice, all delivery drivers I’ve had are very friendly also. Highly recommend.

This place is hit or miss but 90% of the time it’s good. The lady at the front counter is SO SWEET and friendly. Our food has always been right and the service has always been great. Sometimes it’s worth not getting the best food when you can get exceptional service and walk into a place where they recognize you and chat.

Not good at ALL. Egg drop soup was flavorless and gelatinous. Entree (sesame chicken combo and General Tso combo) tasted like they were dipped in sea water including the egg rolls. The only thing decent was the crab Rangoons (go to golden china for those. Best ones I’ve had around here.)

I called in a take out and after I picked it up and got home the order had a mistake. I called and was only offered to bring it back and reorder. After driving and setting it up I was not going out again. Do not order fried dumplings they were more like greasy steamed dumplings. The chicken lomein was just grease and noodles very little chicken or vegetables.

Great service and order is never wrong. Egg rolls are properly made and the food doesn’t make you feel sick after consuming like most other places. Highly recommend their sesame chicken and egg rolls.

I’ve lived in Hickory Flat for 17 years. China Garden has always been a hit or miss. This is the 2nd miss in 2 months with the same dish — Kung Pao Chicken. No problem with the rice, but everything else not so great. Too many petit corn, no onions or bell peppers and an overabundance of celery. (See attached photo) Celery overpowers the other semi-stale incredients and doesnt belong, in my opinion, anywhere in this recipe or near my plate. On a positive note, the lady who took my order was friendly.

Trash!!! Maybe it’s because I’m from NY, but I doubt it! The food is horrible. I ordered Shrimp fried rice and chicken wings and it was done in less than 3 minutes! That should have been a warning, but I paid already. Straight Garbage! I only ate a majority of it because I was hungry. Also the chicken tasted old! I honestly feel like sticking my finger down my throat! I definitely believe I ate an animal other than a chicken! NEVER AGAIN!!!

We order $150 worth of food for New Year’s Eve. The woman who took our order was very nice and our order was ready on time. They even gave us an order of complimentary doughnuts, but other than that, the food was awful. They advertise “New York Style”, but I am from NJ and have enjoyed real New York Chinese food and this was nothing like it. The food was watery, mushy, and the fried food tasted like the oil was old. To make matters worse, we ordered 8 egg rolls and 2 shrimp rolls. There were two unmarked packages of 4 and one unmarked package of 2. It turned out that the package of 2 contained one shrimp roll and 1 egg roll and someone with allergic to shell fish ended up with a shrimp roll and got sick. Not a good experience to say the least.
