The food we ordered was ok but there was nothing unique. The staff was friendly, and our meal came quickly. The batter on the shrimp and sweet and sour chicken masked any flavor and overpowered the meat. I ended up removing the batter coating. The sauce that came with was not that flavorful and didn’t do a anything to help, and the fried rice included with the combo meal had nothing else in it and was rather bland.

We only got a couple appetizers but neither one of them or anything to speak of except for the fact that the barbecue pork obviously came straight out of a package from Safeway or Fred Meyers and warmed up a little bit. The fried shrimp was just frozen shrimp that they threw in the deep fryer so the mustard red sauce that made it more Chinese I will never BBQ pork. The drink wasn’t anything special fairly weak. And the music really sucks unless you pick your own q seems like they just keep putting Mike hardcore rap on and that crowd is not a hardcore rap crowd so it must be a bartender. wonderful pool table but only one stick worth using. The patrons or nice crowd for my and my company’s age. There’s a ton of room for improvement and I think it all comes with the staff food. Don’t get me wrong the bartender was not mean or rude or anything to that that there was nothing special even when it came to customer service.

Ordered general tso’s chicken, BBQ pork and pot stickers. Chicken was good but sauce was not. BBQ pork was driest I have ever tasted. Pot stickers were good!

New Cathay restaurant and lounge: The food here is truly excellent. They are accommodating with custom orders, and the quality remains consistent for both dine-in and takeout options. However, when it comes to the lounge, I must express my disappointment. On my birthday a few months ago, the experience was underwhelming. The bar matron displayed a bossy and dismissive attitude, which put a damper on the celebration.

Lots of regulars, perhaps it’s why I wasn’t acknowledged. I would like to rate the food but I wasn’t greeted, acknowledged, offered a drink or a menu. Played some poker, tried to get the bartender/ waitress’ attention, even as she delivered drinks to regulars that were playing next to me. I was hungry, and would have loved some food and a cocktail because my Christmas shopping had wore me out. After about 30-45 mins of being invisible, I took my money to a different bar where my patronage was appreciated.

ordered the Szechuan beef just today ended up getting nothing but Szechuan cabbage cabbage is not even listed as an ingredient no taste in a brown liquid very little beef and almost no rice to go with it. Very poor quality for $14 will never be eating here again I understand that you’ll use cabbage as a filler but come on this was way too much cabbage.

This food was the most bland Chinese food I’ve ever had. The sweet and sour sauce was an odd color and runny like water. Not fried rice, it was basically white rice with a few specks of egg. Only good thing was the hot and sour soup.
