We’ve never been to Popeyes before. Being our first time visiting a Popeyes, I ordered and was told that there are regular sides and premium sides. I never saw that on the menu. The woman taking the order had an attitude with me. Even at the window, when I requested a slight change in order, they didn’t seem happy. Someone in the kitchen yelled about it. The one employee there who seemed nice shut the window so we couldn’t hear the fussing.

First time going to this location. I pulled up and was quite happy to see there was no line. I ordered a five-piece chicken tender with mashed potatoes and an extra biscuit. It came out to over $13. I go 15 minutes away and realize they only gave me three tenders. Talking about someone upset! I wasn’t even close to being in town. Called them to let them know what happened. The worker had a slight attitude and said she’ll put my name down to have the wholemeal replaced. The replacement meal tasted better. But I was so annoyed with the fact that I had to leave and come back. There was no one there…like literally…so how could this order have been wrong?! If I’m in the area again I “may” give them a second chance but you all know first impressions are lasting impressions.

We got the chicken sandwich and the shrimp meal. They were both hot, and good. This was my third time getting the chicken sandwich. The first was at another location that was dry. Was wondering what everyone was talking about, pretty disappointed. Both I’ve gotten at this location were awesome. John, who took our order and brought our food was great. Wish all fast food employees were this competent and personable.

Stay far away from this restaurant. I should have read the reviews before visiting. The chicken sandwich that people used to fight about when it first came out is a joke here. Just a slab of chicken with no flavor, no seasoning, not crispy, old and boring. My food was lukewarm at best. Really, I should have asked for my money back after the first bite, but I was starving. Another iconic brand location bites the dust. I assume that this location killed the Bojangles location next to it because it is closed. Well, that restaurant sucked too. Go to the Prince Ave location. It’s worth the drive. Never have been disappointed there. Walked out feeling like I had just been robbed of 13 dollars really….

I am taking away a star from the five star service because the food was very disappointing. The ghost pepper wings had heat, but no flavor and the lemonade was not sweet. The up-charge was NOT worth it at all… I still give three stars because the few times that I have been the employees have been very nice and very friendly. It really seems like they enjoy being there. The great service trumped the lackluster food experience. I am willing to give it another try because it hasn’t always been a miss. I will definitely update with fewer starts if the food continues to be a miss though.

Bad customer service. Forgot to put sauce in my bag that I asked for and was listed on the receipt. Young man did not apologize for HIS mistake, and then when I was friendly to him by saying thank you he didn’t respond. I then said “I appreciate it”, still no response.. bad service. Lizzie was the cashier that took my order. She was excellent. It was the young black man who gave me my order at the window and took my money that needs to be retrained in service.

This location is spiraling down again. They overcooked my shrimp until they were dark brown. The biscuit had a weird flavor. The Cajun rice was so underseasoned that it was pale grey in color and tasted like old, dry, plain rice (the containers weren’t even half-full by the way). I complained to the manager who simply said, “well throw it away.” LOL She stopped caring long ago. Also they don’t have lemon for the tea, ever. When I was leaving someone came in to pick up an order that they had placed on the app. The employees had been ignoring the app orders, so it wasn’t ready. So the customer left. The manager was outraged that the customer would not wait! Such backwards thinking.

Terrible. 10 thin chicken strips, not chicken tenders. Sides smaller servings sizes also. $2.99 for 1/4 cup rice and beans. Not worth the 28.71 meal. Worst Popeyes food ever, anywhere. Small portions very small.
