Hooked was really good. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 Stars was due to the price. If my memory is correct, my dinning experience was about 45.00. It was good, however for me, this price point would be a dine in experience. The set up is more so like fast food. You order and pick up your food. The food was exceptional and the service was friendly, however for me 50.00 was a little pricey for the 3 items I ordered. Again, very good and fresh food, I just would like to see more value at this price point….

I tried this place for the first time tonight. I ordered the fried shrimp. At first glance it looked like it was going to be good. Fried shrimp on top of a ton of fries and corn on the cob. The fries were soggy and undercooked, and the corn on the cob was dry and small. I threw the fries and corn on the cob in the trash. There were only 5 small shrimp in the box. They were covered in a lot of batter that made them look much larger than they really were. I came hungry and left hungry all for $20. For a nice place like the HUB I would have expected better. The burger and pizza restaurants at the HUB are good. Avoid this place though.

WAY too expensive for the small amount of food you get. The cod tackle box was 2 tiny little pieces of fish with half a corn cob and fries. The Lobster roll was literally like trying to bite through an eraser! I couldn’t eat it and I have strong teeth! I will say the staff was nice so we appreciated that.

My husband and I both ordered the Tackle Box with Red Snapper. When we received our orders the boxes were 80% fries, two small pieces of fish, and a half corn on the cob. The flavor was lacking; the fries were much better than the fish. After taking a couple of bites of fish I realized it was not Red Snapper. My husband returned to talk with the staff, and they informed him that fish changes throughout the day. As a result, they were serving Porgy at the time.

RIPPED OFF AND DISSATISFIED. Came out for dinner with my wife as we were in the mood for seafood. When we got to the restaurant we were excited because we saw a snap on the menu. We both ordered Snapper tackle box and were told to expect the text once our food was ready. After waiting what seemed like a long time and no text I went back to the counter and in quiet I was told to go around to where they were making the food. Our food was sitting on the table no biggie I took our bag and went back to another table to eat. Once we opened the containers I was a bit surprised to see two smallish pieces of fish a piece of corn and a mountain of potatoes. A couple of bites into the fish and I knew that this was not Snapper so I went back to the counting quiet. I was told that they were running porgy. If you are advertising Snapper charging Snapper prices yet serving Porgy as far as I’m concerned you are ripping of people. Also the corn disappointed it was firm and flavorless. $24 for fast food fish and chips is not acceptable in my opinion.

Really? $20 + tips for these 2 tiny pieces of fish. It’s probably less than 1/8 of a cod.

Beautiful setting, but like all trendy places, the food was below par. Got the fish and chips and some popcorn shrimp. While the fries were a bit unique (large shavings), we received two small pieces of fish, each about the size of a deck of cards, with a lot of breading a very little fish. It came with half a cob of corn. This for $20. The popcorn shrimp was intended for kids. Virtually same portion size as adult size but for $13.

Once you get used to the business model, it is pretty unique. It’s some great food that is “packaged” so that you can take it out to the courtyard, outdoor seating at the restaurant, or inside at some large, common use tables. I had the fish and chips and the cod was very flaky and good.

My son had the daily special which was the sea scallops. While I had the whitefish. Both were amazingly delicious.

Very disappointed the lobster roll was chewy and kinda small especially for the price which was $26. They have the same exact size lobster roll at legacy west for less than $20 which proves my point and it was better! Won’t be coming back here again even the fries were over cooked and it all came in a small box.
