I visited this restaurant to support my college roommate and her husband business. We love Jamaican food so we will drive for it. When I say this food was superb, not because I know them!!! Man we bought the large plate as seen here. The food was cool to order. The chef believes in fresh seasoned food. My husband was so impressed all he added was hot sauce. He could stop eating. Customers let coming in observing our plates and requesting the same entree. The curry chicken was delicious too! I forgot to take a picture of the cornbread. It was sooo moist and good. I should have bought extra, lol. You must try this place. It’s closed on Sunday to rest. Every other day they look forward to serving you. Great customer service too! Oh the plates we bought were large size.

Customer Service 10/10 – for the guy that took the order was great. He’s also the one I spoke to when I called about the meat not been tender and what do they suggest on how to tenderize it. He spoke to the cook and they said it’s because of the size and if cooked longer they would have burned. I’ll suggest requesting small oxtail if you want them tender from this location if that’s the reason.

This is my favorite spot for Jamaica food in the Tri City area. The staff is friendly. There located off Manchester Expressway between the KFC and The ole Time Buffett. Located in the Liberty Gas Station. The Jerk and Chicken is delicious. But my go to our The Ox Tails. The food is season very well. And the food portions are very generous.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food was disgusting. It had no flavor…..the rice and peas was over cooked almost like porridge. The cabbage was over cooked and mushy. The jerk chicken taste like they sprinkled a little “slap ya mama” seasoning on it. Plantains not cooked properly and they were undercooked and greasy. Just nasty as hell. Cook had on no gloves, keep in mind this place is inside of a gas station but still if you’re going to serve food please make sure it is up to par.

This is a must try place in Columbus!!! Their chicken falls off the bone and was a perfect combination of moist and flavorful! Their jerk rice was pretty good. But the cherry on top: The cornbread and cabbage/carrots, you have got to try those two sides that come standard with their meals. They also offer a normal or large portion, I strongly recommend just getting the normal portion if you’re eating one per person, the large was MONSTROUS. I ordered a normal and a large for me and my wife and we were able to get a second meal out of the order. I promise you that you have not lived until you try this place. Do not be deceived by its location inside a gas station, I promise you will not regret it. I’ll be back next week!

Foods good but Ox tails plates are EXPENSIVE.. The total would have been $70 plus dollars for 2 large plate and 1 small… thank God they didn’t have any ready yet again…bc that gave me the opportunity to go to the grocery store and buy $70 worth of ox tails and ingredients which lasted me for 6 Large plates full.

I visited on yesterday with my husband and he got the Turkey wing and the jerk chicken dinner and I got the oxtails dinner & OMG food was amazing , season was just right !!!! We will definitely be back !!!

Ordered large oxtails. Very large portion but the oxtails were not what I’m familiar with. The bones weren’t oxtail bones and loaded with fat. The flavor was off putting and nothing close to a Jamaican oxtail that takes hours to cook. The rice was gummy nothing like rice and peas I’m familiar with. This is NOT a taste of Jamaica at all. Very disappointed ☹️. One star is being generous!!!
