We are in town from Texas and honestly I was looking forward to this place based on reviews. But unfortunately it was not good… burgers tasted like old frozen meat.. fried mushrooms were actually good. service was sub par and the lady didn’t know how to answer any questions about the menu. It is also VERY dirty and rundown.

Anyplace that will make fresh breaded, fried mushrooms is a winner for me. Breakfast omelette w/home fried potatoes also fresh. Filling & got money’s worth (do not recommend for anyone on diet).

Only one other table in the place so it was not busy. Chicken fried steak was undercooked and just warm. I didn’t send it back because I don’t send food back. Didn’t ask for refund because I don’t do that either. But by no means will I ever go back. My friend ordered catfish and got cod or tilapia deep-fried. Overall just bad place.

The worst service. Asked for a hamburger. Got a cheeseburger. Sorry but do not like cheese on my burger. Asked for a large tater tot . Not only did we get 12 pieces for a large. They were actually still white. The person who brought more, still undercooked. 3 times had to ask for lemon for my water.

Happen to run across this place while staying at Camp Tom Hale Scouts camp. Great little restaurant! Service was great, people were friendly and the coffee/food was very good. Great prices too! Definitely recommend getting out here for a bite!
