Yes and yes, we were on our way to Charleston for a couple of days and this place hit our radar. Damn good food, good service and some of the friendliest people around. I think we met most of the family and we could tell that the food was made with love and the blueberry pie was unlike any pie I have ever had, that alone is worth a trip back. If you want to feel like you walked into the place you always knew was out there but never found then here it is. Love, food to die for and you just don’t want to leave. Also, we wanted for nothing during our visit. I just can’t say enough great stuff about Genesis!

On my way back to HHI from Charleston and I was starving, My husband suggested this place, we pulled in and sat down. We were greeted by the nicest woman who made us feeling like we were coming into her home. Her warm welcome alone is a reason to come back. Let me tell you about the food; it was AMAZING!!! I had the fish and shrimp with mac n cheese and corn bread and my husband had the rice with shrimp. I don’t know which was better. When I saw the portions I thought we would for sure have left overs. Nope! None at it all. I can’t wait to come back and am already planning a trip for next week. The hour drive won’t keep me away!

The food truck was in Crowfield at the park today which is Oct 6, 2022 and service was very friendly and food was delicious. I wanted grill fish, Lima beans, green beans and zucchini and food was well cooked and not over seasoned. I throughly enjoyed my food and have left overs for tomorrow. Hope we see the food truck again.
