Scouting for the Food Network App for the Best Burgers in NJ. Wish I knew about this place. You would only know about it if you have been to it before. Hidden back off the road with a more different style of a building. They have seating both inside and outside with excellent service. The Burger was outstanding and I would definitely go back again soon.

We had our wedding at the Barnyard on October 9th and I truly cannot say enough about how amazing this venue was! Newly engaged folks – do not sleep on this venue! Every single thing was amazing: from the staff, to the food, the dessert, the room, just beyond expectations. The food in general was out of this world. Cocktail hour was incredible and offered so many choices. We opted for a buffet for dinner and it truly was spectacular; the food was plentiful, high quality, and delicious. Our bartenders were absolutely amazing and accommodating; Anna our Maitre D was attentive, kind, and looking out for us the entire night; Mike the owner as well as Anna were both a joy to work with throughout the whole planning process. I wish I could go back and do it a second time! We are looking forward to going back to the restaurant to celebrate our future anniversaries! Thank you so much to everyone at the Barnyard for making our wedding the best day ever, we will never ever forget it ❤️

The service was great, for the most part. Our server was fine but when I went to ask another lady just if she can get our server she completely brushed us off and then avoided eye contact with the rest of our party (we were two tables). However, our server was great! I know the difficulties of serving a huge party so I tried to limit the stress as much as possible but he stuck through it and made my mom’s 70th birthday a memorable one!!! All the food was good except for the steak, we did ask for medium well, However the steak was completely charred and dried out, all 5 of them. All the other appetizers, entrees and desserts were amazing! They also put a candle on my mom’s dessert so we can sing happy birthday! I appreciated that more than they know! All in all, definitely recommend and will be here again soon! Hopefully can create another milestone memory here!

Very nice atmosphere especially sitting outside. The service if the staff was excellent. Friendly relaxing and quiet away from street noise. Great place for a group party. Only criticism is a limited menu. They should offer a more extensive menu. Still very enjoyable.

Worth stopping in and grabbing a bite. The penne vodka with chicken was creamy and the pasta was nice and el dente. The Rich Man’s Burger was also really good. The steak was perfectly cooked and that’s what made the burger so tasteful. Good size portions.

I have been coming to the Barnyard for about 3-4 years. The Staff is always friendly and the service is great! I especially love the outside bar and restaurant patio area. The bartenders are attentive and very friendly. Stef and his team are doing a great job creating an enjoyable atmosphere at the outside bar. There’s always great music, tv, and even sand volleyball! I’m always sad when the summer ends and the outside area closes. I can’t wait to see what Stef has planned for the fall, I will most definitely be attending.

I had my baby shower here yesterday. Unfortunately, my day was ruined and the President of this establishment, Michael Holland, completely stressed me out. He was very rude to my vendors and family. He referred to my family as “you people”, screamed in my aunts’ faces, and was very prejudice and disrespectful towards my family. I couldn’t believe the disrespect we experienced. How can you treat paying customers like this? If you are a person of color, you might not want to have your event here. We are obviously not welcomed. Michael was beyond rude, even to my guest as they were entering the building and trying to find the room.
