Family choice for dinner solution on a rainy day. Olive Garden has always been a favorite for our family. Today we chose the Salad, breadsticks, shrimp scampi, lasagna frittas, meatballs, and chicken Alfredo. All of it was delicious. Since we ordered takeout, when I arrived at the Jonesboro location I pulled into a takeout parking spot, called the telephone number, gave them the number of the parking spot then waited. A few minutes later the team member came out under a large umbrella with a large bag of food. It was so big I had to put a seatbelt around it. Got all the food home safe and sound and then we destroyed it. Thanks for a great dinner at home Olive Garden. I highly recommend you eat in or takeout from Olive Garden on Jonesboro road.

I visited the McDonough Olive Garden for a special Mother’s Day dinner with my family. Good atmosphere inside the establishment with diverse patrons and well-maintained facilities. The chef and kitchen staff provided accurate meal customizations for our entire group. The mozzarella sticks dipped in the four-cheese sauce and the extra spinach, extra cheese and abundance of shrimp in my Shrimp Alfredo were the highlights of my meal. Rod provided excellent front of house service, timely, non-intrusive, warm and humorous, and recorded accurate meal orders. My family enjoyed the chilled wine he recommended and the carry-out bag for it was a nice touch. He even went the extra mile to capture a beautiful family photo for us!

It started off well enough the server seemed really nice, but after we ordered we never really saw her again. We got our salad and my wife’s soup and bread sticks (which were undercooked and very doughy), then she vanished again. My chicken and shrimp Carbonara came out perfect and was delicious, my son’s pizza was good too! The second small bowl of salad came out and it didn’t have any croutons, so we asked for some and some bread sticks that weren’t undercooked (all while being very polite) neither of which she ever brought out. She come back and asks if we need anything and we respond with croutons and some bread sticks please. She came back about 15 minutes later and asked again if we needed anything, at this point we were ready to go so I just asked for a small to go box for my food, and my wife starts paying on the kiosk. She brings out the to go box and asks again if we need anything we just smile and say no thank you, so she starts reaching over me (while I’m trying to transfer food into the to go box) and grabbing the dishes. I just wish she would have waited until I was at least finished before you started clearing the table. All in all not worth the $60 and we will not be going back here.

We had a much better experience here than other nearby Olive Garden locations. They were packed when we visited (on a Sunday) and were told it was a 30-minute wait. But they had us seated at 22 minutes.

Ms. Yinesha was our server and did an excellent job. We were seated within a couple of minutes and both appetizers and main coursed were served within 10 minutes respectively. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. From left to right, the chicken and dumpling soup, shrimp and scampi, and steak and pasta. A great experience 🙂

Olive Garden took care of our party of 25 very nicely for a last minute gathering. Service was great the food could have been salted more and some of us felt that our pasta didn’t have enough sauce. My fritta chicken alfredo was tasty even though I had to add some salt and pepper.
