I genuinely do not understand the hype around this place. My husband and I moved to Greenwood about a year ago and we have tried to eat at this place on two separate occasions. Both times we walked into the restaurant it smelled heavily of mildew and both times my husband and I agreed to go elsewhere. Tonight we ordered it in, really trying to wrap our heads around why locals say this place is so good.

Went to lunch with a friend. Fast, friendly and good. First time I have been there. UPDATE 7/12/23 Food is still wonderful, but the service has gone downhill. Ordered unsweetened tea, got sweet tea. We had to find the server to tell her. Food was brought, but weren’t asked if we wanted more tea. Had to ask another server for our checks. Had to wave our check holders in the air to pay, it was cash, no change with me. Probably 5 tables with customers, not real busy.

My Fiesta chicken was good. However, my husband ordered a salad, and it came out on an obviously dirty plate. The staff even admitted it was dirty once we pointed it out. Of course we sent it back. They just scraped the same salad onto a clean plate and brought it back! That makes no sense. The young guy working told us that’s all he did when my husband asked. They didn’t seem to understand why my husband was upset. We won’t return.

We had a family gathering in one of the back rooms. Let me tell you the staff here were so inviting, friendly and helpful. We had the best waitress who did an awesome job getting our orders and keeping them straight. No one was lacking any food item, sometimes this can’t be done with one order let alone 20. The food was plentiful and was delicious! I recommend this restaurant and will be back next time I’m in town.
