Our friends are BBQ masters and they recommended Teddy’s. Hands down the best BBQ place in the valley! My wife ordered the 2 meat plate she got lean brisket and regular sausage. I got 2 meat plate with Crispy pork belly and turkey. Sides potato salad, mashed potatoes berne Mac and creamed corn. Will definitely come back again. The staff is great really friendly.

Definitely worthy of the Texas Monthly Top 50 recognition and worth the trip if you’re in the area or a BBQ fanatic. For me, the brisket was the real standout, great bark, smoky flavor, salt/pepper based rub with just a little fat (1/8th of an inch!), very lean and substantial slices. I liked the pork ribs a lot, my dining partner thought they were underdone (she’s from Germany, but she knows her BBQ). Another star for me was the chile pequin sausage – wow, these links pack a spicy punch, sort of a chorizo grind consistency and just fantastic flavor – a very unique and special treat. I had the much ballyhoo-ed beef fat tortillas and they were great homemade flour tortillas, but nothing life-changing. The sides were solid, but nothing spectacular.

Our new favorite Barbeque place! Went for the chicken fried steak special and also got the brisket sandwich. Both were excellent. Tried the Mac & cheese, creamed corn, and oh my goodness, the fried Brussels sprouts! Everything was spot on. The chicken fried steak was huge, tender, and coated with deliwinter season. Indoor seating is small, but there is a great outdoor setup with a bar and a stage for live music. The staff is great, even at theirvbusiest, which was the entire time we were there. Teddy’s is at the top of our list when we return for next winter season.

We got the Little Teddy platter and added a third side. Everything was tender, juicy, flavorful. The sides were delicious. The staff was great, they helped us decide what to order.

The pork belly was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! PLEASE TRY THE PORK BELLY! It has a chicharron flavor almost, but then moist and cooked under. Foodies’ paradise! Get there early or it WILL SELL OUT! The brisket was moist and very well seasoned. Rice on POINT! Frijoles charros amazing! Mac and cheese was a little over cooked to me and was a bit too liquidy, but good nonetheless. Potato salad was also DELICIOUS! Pork ribs were perfect! Ya!ll! The tortillas de harina alone were deliciosas! Chocolate chip cookies are salted and AMAZING! Smokin Moon better watch out for this joint!!! Some constructive CRITICISM: the ordering layout/method is way too slow. There were about 4 orders/people ahead of us and it took about 35 minutes. They might be understaffed, not sure, but it does take a very long time to order and get the food. Is it worth the wait? ABSOLUTELY! Keep it up guys!

The brisket was fork-tender, and the ribs were savory and succulent. The three sides we tried (creamed corn, mac & cheese and pinto beans) were all stellar. Be sure to get a side of tortillas made with beef fat.

There’s a reason Valley foodies and Texas Monthly is raving about Teddy’s BBQ. It’s VERY good. As you can see (by the pics) we tasted most of their offerings. Brisket, Pork Belly, Beef Ribs, Pork Ribs, 2 of their Sausages (Chili Piquin and Serrano) and most of their side dishes (Bernie Mac, Cream Corn, Beans and Potato Salad) too. All the meat choices were excellent. The Bernie Mac and Cream Corn need a little tweaking in my opinion but the Potato Salad, as simple as it seems, brought back memories of my Mom’s potato salad. Definitely recommend.
