This pizza place is a hidden gem! Every time we eat here I am surprised that there is not a line out the door! We absolutely love the Low Rider pizza! The service is great and the pizza is hot and delicious! Worth the trip every time!

Best pizza. Enough said. Just go I’m honestly disappointed if you haven’t eaten here yet. What a sad and depressing thought. You have never experienced the overwhelming amount of deliciousness coming from this pizza, and that’s just sad. So instead of being sad that you haven’t had real or good pizza just come here and eat some. You’re welcome in advance. Congratulations on discovering your new favorite restaurant.

Just what the doctor ordered! Fresh and simple pizza and salad in a chill environment. Have we had ‘better’ pizza? Yes. But this pizza is good enough to call it a day in Colorado, go back to our nearby hotel, and feel good about our choice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful- 5 stars for them:)

By far the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Every bite was interesting, creamy but light. The lady fingers were perfect. Perfect bite was with the chocolate covered espresso bean. HIGHLY recommend. The pizza is amazing, my wife had an Italian soda with vodka and it was perfectly balanced. Atomsphere and customer service is 10/10.

Service was horrible. Pizza is equally as horrible. We were given two napkins for eight people. Were sitting for 20 minutes before having to flag down someone just to get drinks. Then she stood 10 feet away as we yelled to give our order. Server was only seen once after this when pizzas were brought out. Had to ask for check, but could have probably left without paying as nobody was with it enough to even notice. High prices for scantily topped pizza that tastes like it’s made of a saltine cracker crust. The cheapest frozen pizza at the grocery store shines in comparison. I have no idea how they are still in business, except the location provides an endless supply of one-time customers.

I’ve eaten some really great pizza at Proto’s over the years, however last weekend’s order was a huge disappointment. Two large pizzas had two inches of plain crust, maybe 3 tiny pieces of sausage and scant other toppings… add in a salad for a total of $85… what a colossal rip off. We’ve taken Proto’s off our go-to list.

Great service cold beer and hot pizza!!! This little spot in Broomfield hits the spot!! A perfect spot for a quick bite and beer before an event at the First Bank Center in Broomfield. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the happy hour specials are amazing!!! Protos is going to be our new hang out before shows or events now!!! Also there is plenty of parking in the parking garage!!!

Nomad Life
I’ve been to 3 Protos now. Although the food is consistent, the Lafayette location still wins hands down for service, with Boulder being a close second. The Broomfield one felt like it was being run by children and took 15-20 minutes (sitting at a fairly empty bar) to even get acknowledged. Definitely a livelier atmosphere than Lafayette but not worth the attentiveness loss.
