My favorite new breakfast restaurant. Had Grouper Benedict on my last visit that was so good. Love the way that they have daily specials (READ the CHALKBOARDS) as well as a full menu. Pay attention to Google’s reporting of customer traffic to avoid really busy periods (11 am to noon). We started visiting weekly before shopping at Publix which helps us walk off some of the calories.

For an over $30 breakfast it must definitely was not worth it and we will not be back. The food came extremely quick for the time that it was ordered which right away says most of it is pre made but what was worse is the breakfast gravy tasted and looked like the stuff you buy in a can from the grocery store (and not even the name brand chain.) Both my boyfriend and I felt sick to our stomach when we left. The waitress was casually conversating and clearing tables after taking our drink order rather then concentrating on serving our drinks although the only bright spot of the whole experience was the Tea.

First step, to the food, to stepping out of the restaurant was in excellent experience. Excellent team of wait staff, and the food! – was fresh, and beyond delicious! Serving sizes are plentiful, and the stuffed grouper melts in your mouth and overwhelms your taste buds with delight! Whenever we pass through Homosassa, we will be stopping!

We’ve been here a few times and thoroughly enjoy every item we try. This time was lunch. Hubby had one of the specials, blackened bacon ranch chicken sandwich with fries & slaw and I opted for the patty melt with fries & slaw. Hubby raved about that sandwich! My patty melt was the perfect medium done, the fries were fresh and very good. Hubby appreciated the lightly salted. While the slaw wasn’t for us, that was a personal preference not a reflection of the quality. Overall we will continue to stop by whenever we’re in Homosassa!

Kim’s Cafe 2 is my new favorite go-to place for breakfast and lunch. My experience started with an amazing bubbly waitress named Sparkles, with a personality that matches. She and her co-worker provided top quality service that created a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu offers plenty of choices that will make your mouth water. The food was ready quickly and came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. As low as the prices are, I was expecting less then fast food sized portions but was I WRONG! They were HUGE! My group ordered a variety of dishes including the Mushroom Swiss Burger, Shrimp Platter, Spanish omelet, Club Sandwich, Blueberry pancakes, chili, and more. The burgers, for lack of a better term, was over half the size of our heads, “colossal” is an understatement for the shrimp, the pancakes were the size of a standard size dinner plate, and I can’t even begin to describe the taste other than perfection !
