Brick Oven Pizza Hawaii is a family owned and operated restaurant since 1977 established in Kalaheo, Kaua’i. The Aguano and Gummerus Ohana obtained ownership on March 8, 2008. During the past twelve years of ownership they expanded their restaurant to include two more restaurants on O’ahu. Prior to their ownership of Brick Oven Pizza, the restaurant was designed to have a small menu that featured pizzas, salads, and sandwiches with a small selection of alcohol beverages. Over the years, the current owners added various new items to the menu including a variety of appetizers, pastas, soups, and a full bar service. The Brick Oven Pizza has fantastic wings and pizza! I also loved the ranch dressing! The staff is just as fantastic though. You can certainly tell ” family” is important to them. They treat each other like family as well as the patrons. Absolutely recommend this place if visiting Oahu. Shout out to Trey and Savannah for making us feel like family too!

We were visiting from the continental 48 and we were looking for something more like home. This place was great. Honestly some of the best pizza I’ve had. We got the calamari to start which was great. Then we got the meat lovers which was the star. The pizza was nicely loaded and cooked just right. The crust had a nice crunch to it. Then we followed it up with a pineapple chicken. It wasn’t like a traditional one. This wasn’t bad though. I actually enjoyed it more that what you would normally get. The chicken seemed very fresh.

The Chicken Alfredo, our Pizza, the calamari, and the Aloha desert were absolutely amazing! The waitress was very attentive and very nice. The restaurant was clean and the environment was friendly. The price was worth it for the food. Absolutely loved this place. Definitely coming back. Had a better experience here than the other overpriced pizza place at Kamakana Ali’i.

Hands down the best pizza on the leeward/west side. The staff is friendly, the beer is cold, and the pizza is always made to perfection. I highly recommend the pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza. The meatballs and chicken wings are great appetizers as well.

Food was excellent, drinks were great, but the best part was the ambience. Small venue, but they let our group sit, eat and drink and just enjoy ourselves for over two hours, despite it being a busy Friday night, and the service remained excellent.
