For being another Sherman’s Buffet in Stockton, this one is pretty solid. At least you can sit and eat at this one unlike the Waterloo Road location.

They are the Best! We go every Sunday since they have reopened for indoor dining. They serve us these fried veggies! So good!!!

It’s a buffet so service is as expected. The food is good enough. Not exceptional. And the place is clean but older. No frills or attempt at ambiance. But it’s the food not the decor you’re there for. Order to go and the portions are generous. The soda fountain is notable. The right carbonation and syrup concentration to make an excellent drink. Not to heavy and not watered down.

Their food made my stomach really sick. On my birthday. But the food was delicious. Atmosphere was ok.

Lunch buffet is $12.21 not $8.00 as they advertise. Food is average but not worth 12bucks

Sherman’s is a place you go to when you want food at a price you can be happy with and a portion that is more than you expect. They have about ten items they always have (chow mein, fried rice, fried chicken with and without bone, crab Rangoon, fried spring rolls, teriyaki chicken, Mongolian chicken, beef and broccoli, spicy teriyaki chicken, sauced mushrooms(they go fast), prepared shrimp in sauce, barbecued red chicken or pork, fried veggies snacks) and specialty items like fried asparagus when the season hits. They are super nice and they definitely give off chill diner vibes. They have a spacious interior for the buffet crowd but most usually just get a three item plate and hustle off. The decor is dated but clean and comfortable. They have booths for small parties or big tables for more people. It’s like 8 bucks for a three item plate (great portions) and 9 for buffet, 2 bucks more for the drink so it’s really more like eleven bucks. IMHO, totally worth it for it’s laid back and low expectation environment.

Great Food! Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s a little too greasy. Garlic green beans were crispy and delicious. House chicken yummy. Prawns a little over cooked but quite tasty. And the noodle were very fresh and good. My husband had wor wonton soup and garlic chicken and didn’t speak till he was done eating which is his way of saying Yummy! We will definitely be going back soon (Friday).

Sherman’s is relatively busy and has a high turnover of food which means the food is fresh
