My friend sent me the Instagram reel showcasing their Kutie Shoe and I wanted to try it out. For those of you that aren’t from the Chicagoland area, a Kutie Shoe is their version of the legendary Gym Shoe sandwich that consist of corned beef, gyros and Italian beef meat on a soft sub roll with lettuce, tomato and whatever other condiments you might want.

Just left there, 1st visit. I decided to try them from the reel on social media, the husband and wife foodies. I ordered the Jr cornbeef combo. I’m pretty sure the meat is processed cornbeef, not brisket, which was very disappointing. The service was great. Pretty sure I won’t patronage again. I think it’s important to support small businesses, but I also think it’s just as important for the small business to produce the products that are being advertised and not create an image that brings customers in, but the actual delivery don’t bring the customers back. Again; the service was great. The food, it’s a NO for me.

I saw this establishment on social media and decided to give them a try. I ordered a “Big Beef” and a Fruit Punch Lemonade Kool Aid for my first time patronizing Kuties. The sandwich was good. The Corned Beef wasn’t to salty. I LIKE THAT!!! Not enough meat in my opinion for the price they charge though but giving the benefit of the doubt. They were pretty busy so maybe the lady in the back preparing the food was rushing, and shorted me by mistake. The kool aid was pretty good as well. (I’ll be sure to request lite ice next time) I only hope that the wait isnt so long to get the food my next visit. I do understand that the food is made to order but 50 mins for 1 sandwich is to long and there definitely needs to be more than one person in back preparing the food.

I tried … I really tried to support in good faith. I support Black Businesses. My order was made wrong the nice young lady placed my name down to return for a remake. I returned today and an older lady met me with a Ribaldrous tone and demeanor, stating I had came yesterday already!? I was working there was no way that could be true. After advising her of this she asked what I had (with same accusatory attitude). I advised what I ordered. I return home after a candid conversation with her about her approach and my sandwhich was still WRONG! SMH! For that I cannot return to her business. We have got to do better with each other! SMH

Just picked up a corn beef meat absolutele tender bread is thin for the amount of meat trust me you get a lot of meat. However corn beef is a Hit or miss this time it was too much Salt. A lot of Salt.

The service was poor and the wait was entirely too long for 2 sandwiches just for them to only give us one sandwich and have to wait for them to make the other one. We waited over an hour and it was a lobby area full of people complaining about how long they’d been waiting. They weren’t selling fries or chicken wings, the cashier had to have been new because every time someone asked what came on particular sandwiches she had to yell back and ask and the people in the back act like they ain’t kno either I had high hopes for this place since I saw a video advertised on Facebook, I was very much not impressed then they got a sign that says no refunds but don’t nobody wanna wait a hr and a half for they food u can give me a refund and I could go somewhere else. No No No!!! They want you to support black businesses, but they suck, Nacho’s we’re stale, Jim shoe has no flavor, funnel cake no topping, and they be had no banana pudding shake because they didn’t have enough to make the shake, we ordered a Italian beef and waited 30 mins for them to say they couldn’t make it! The cake and pie was so small it made me laugh! What happened to black people seasonings? Black business I have tried to support, but never go back oh yeah the koolaid was water?
