I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. In a nutshell. Food portions are great. Prices are still very reasonable.

Nice neighborhood restaurant featuring Chinese-Hawaiian food. Made-to-order food is not greasy like some Chinese-American restaurants. Large portions. Cheap prices. Friendly service. Small parking lot in the rear.

Amazing quality fresh food, great prices and family owned and run. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Just like going to auntie’s house for dinner and auntie can cook!

Tasty Chinese food in Paoua. Easily missed restaurant as this is a somewhat busy intersection. Tucked away on the corner near the entrance to the Pali Highway.

Nice place for local Chinese and Cantonese foods. Parking some time can be limited but if u do find parking, this place can prepare some delicious dishes for you rather you are here for a quick meal or family dinner. Menu has a huge selections from plate lunches to noodle soup, chow fun, lo mien and traditional Cantonese dishes in big portions and reasonable priced. they also specialized in seafood preparations like clams, crabs, lobsters, whole steam fishes…etc but these has to be order in advance just one day ahead of time and the owner will personally go out to the market early in the morning on the day of your reservation and pick the freshest seafoods or poultry he can find for you to ensure freshness and quality. Just tell them what you like to eat and they will get everything ready for you. MUST TRY items that’s NOT in the menu are: Homemade specialty BBQ Ribs, Drunken Manilia Clams, Dungeness crabs with Ginger Onions, Whole Maine Lobster with Garlic sauce and noodles on the bottom (gotta put noodles on the bottom so it obsorb all the juice and favor of the lobster), Steamed Whole fish (kumu is da best or flounder), Steamed Garlic Shrimp with look fun.

I love the old taste of Chinatown like Tin Tin Chop Suey. Pauoa Chop Suey brings back memories of some of my favorites that I used to enjoy. Some may be “greasy spoon” old fashioned dishes but taste so good.

Came here all the time, decent, reasonably priced Chinese comfort food. Rice not very good though, we’d do take out and make our own. Shrimp egg my fav.

I go there once a week and it is always great eating. Never had a bad meal there. My sons live eating there also. They make my sons feel very welcome there. We have been eating there for at least 15 years now. My mother is vegetarian. They are willing to adjust the different meals to accommodate my mother as a vegetarian she loves it there. Will continue to eat there for Chinese food as our first choice. It’s not a large place as some other Chinese eating places and parking in the back can fill up fast at times leaving you to park on street. But worth it. Hope you enjoy eating there as much as we do. Hope this helps you…

Host was very short and rude. Beef and vegetables came out in 3 minutes…I think its leftovers from yesterday. Terrible.
